Il be short today (Ha! I was not, sorry!)but would love to hear if you are interested in more projects like these (repurposing type of projects). I found that I rarely throw away toilet paper rolls so I better figure what to do with them. :) I've seen many different ideas out there...but this one I just thought would be cute!
Hope you enjoy this picture tutorial. I'll use larger font next time, I promise! I made it myself with MDS2. I am loving this sofware!! Really...so easy!
If you are not able to read the instructions well...sorry playing with the picture tutorials a bit to get them to the right size, just leave me a message and Il send it to your email. No problema!!
Here is a card I made to coordinate with the gift card holder. I ws inspired by the CCMC-002, but Im not sure I follow it to a T. Yikes! I just didnt have it right in front of me, Oh well!
You can go to Create with Connie and Mary clicking HERE!
The DSP panel and the toilet paper roll were cut to 4" x 3" then matted with Early Expresso Cardstock. Card size is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Sentiment from stamp set "Kindness Matters"
Last but not least...I told you I was going to show you how I organize my Cardstock.
Well, my closet is little so not that fancy, but it works great for me.
How do you organize yours...yikes! Maybe you have a much better idea than this!
Hope you enjoy this short tutorial...don't hesitate to sk and Il send you the copy straight to your email.
Love you all!
Be blessed today with a creative heart and creative hands...go make beauty!

Your project is SOO BEAUTIFUL! So special and unique-looking, I love it Jessica. Your flower looks like you distressed the c/s and peeled it in half? Yes? No? Would love the instructions e-mailed just to explore them all although I must say, it is really straightforward to copy I think. Heck, emboss a tube, staple and cover the end, tie a ribbon; hee hee hee! But I'd love to see how you made the tutorial... Lo aprecio amiga! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy c/s is in a file cabinet as yours is in a box. In the green hanging folders I have 2 or so manila folders, each holding one color of c/s. I leave the new c/s in it's plastic wrapper and all the scraps are in front of it, in the manila folder. I lean into the drawer for scraps rather than pull out a bag of them. Works well for me!
Blessings my friend!! Donna
You are the sweetest, sure Il send it your way! I like your idea of adding a second manila folder, hum...tx for the great suggestion. Love you always! Tx for your kind comments and for stopping by!

What a great tutorial you put together! DARLING!!! I love your card and the colors you picked...how striking! Thanks for playing along in the Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteCute little favor and card projects! Great way to repurpose! I love the colors and textures, too! Thanks for playing along with the sketch challenge this week on Create with Connie and Mary Spring Edition 2013!
ReplyDeleteThe colors and textures in this card complement each other so well - just a lovely card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT idea! So cute and environmentally friendly too! LOL
ReplyDeleteYou asked how we organize our paper and I do similar to you, except I have 4 boxes. I start with the Brights, then Subtles, then Regals and Neutrals. I started with one box for each color and then decided I didn't really need that much for some of the colors so now I have those 4 categories in 3 boxes and the 4th box for my in colors. I use the hanging folders and put 2 colors to a hanger.
I thought I had a picture on my blog, but I guess not. I'd be happy to send you a picture if you like.
Thanks for sharing!
That is awesome Donna! Somethibg tells me you have way more CS than I do. Lol!! That us a grear idea. As my need and space grows I wil add more boxes :) mine is a bit crowded. :)
DeleteBlessing and tx for stopping by my 'home'!
