Stampin'Up! offers different resources for my Memory Keeping needs.
Through the years I have tried different.
My process is becoming simpler as I realized not long ago how I usually start my pages.
FIRST: My story
For me is all about the story I want to share. When I start simply with photos it gets me lost.
Bit if I want a story to stay with me I quickly work on a page starting with "the story" per se.
SECOND: I find the photos that illustrate my story, can be present or past, people or places. Could even be words.
THIRD: From there is finding the colors and papers I want to use, the sketch I want to follow (usually depending on the art of pictures I picked) and the embellishments.
For this page I followed a sketch from Simple Scrapper, a community of scrapbookers that I LOVE being part of.
My family from overseas came to visit a few weeks ago.
Time with the grandparents is scarce so I truly want my children to REMEMBER these moments. Not forget the joy they brought and how blessed we are to have these amazing relatives close to us, if only for 10 days.

This is also something I like,
mixing traditional scrapbooking with divided pocket pages.
