THIS SMALL DIE CAN BE USED IN SO MANY WAYS. THE BOTANICAL EXPRESSIONS BUNDLE IS SO VERSATILE.

I JOINED FRIENDS IN YOUTUBE TO CREATE WITH THIS BUNDLE AND THE SUNNIEST STORIES SCRAPBOOK KIT. YES, I MADE CARDS THIS TIME. IS WAY TOO CUTE NOT TO.

I USED ONE OF THE 4" X 6" CARDS THAT CAME IN THE SUNNIEST STORIES KIT TO MAKE THE INSIDE OF THE CARD EVEN PRETTIER. THE HEART STICKER IS ALSO FROM THE KIT. INSIDE AND OUTSIDE SENTIMENT IS FROM BOTANICAL EXPRESSIONS.

TO RECREATE THIS LOOK:

1. CUT ONE PIECE OF SHADED SPRUCE CARDBASE TO 4" X 5-1/4" 

2. PLACE YOUR BOTANICAL EXPRESSIONS (LEAF) DIE AT THE BOTTOM LENGTHWISE. THEN REPEAT AT THE TOP LEAVING THE MIDDLE ABOUT 1/2" WITHOUT DIE CUTTING. 

IS A PERFECT SPOT TO STAMP A SENTIMENT IF YOU WISH. 

3. ADHERE WITH MINI DIMENSIONALS AS SHOWN DURING MY VIDEO TUTORIAL to the FRONT OF THE CARD. 

4. I ADDED A CIRCLE FROM THE SUNNIEST STORIES KIT AND SWITCH THE SENTIMENT CLEVERLY (I USED THE ONE WITH A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE) COVERING IT WITH "YOU BRIGHTEN MY LIFE".

REPEAT THIS FOLD | Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper

 

Stampin'Up! released a new paper in May, Velvet Meadow Specialty DSP featuring colorful floral designs on one side and soft patterns in neutral colors on the other, giving you double the options. Select sheets include specialty flocking to bring soft, touchable texture to your handmade cards. 

Today I used this pretty paper during my livestream showing a simple unique fold, so simple you can repeat over and over. Watch Here!

To make this card, cut a Basic Beige cardstock to 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". Then cut Basic Beige cardstock to 8-1/2" x 3" and fold in the. middle at 4-1/4".  Make two strips of the Velvet Meadow DSP to 1-1/4" x 4" for both ends. And one center DSP cut at 2-3/4" x 4". Also, cut Basic White to 2-3/4" x 4" for the inside message. Watch video here to see another sample and follow along.
