Scrapbooking Monday in Chevron

Hello my friends!

The chevron design is everywhere in 2013 and when I envisioned this page I just wanted to have chevron everywhere. Can you tell? I pulled ideas from different places...my Sycamore Street DSP from the SAB brochure and this cool card sketch from CCMC237, my theme came from Another Freeking Scrappy Theme Challenge from Feb 1st. What started with many card ideas (I still have one to show you here Wednesday) ended with a page about 3 little people who are my God-given blessings, my 3 passions and my 3 reasons to want to be better each day I wake up. Literally, I make plans every night and morning to excel in what I do because of these. :)

It is a joy for me to introduce to you My Blessings!

Look what a cool sketch this one is:

2012 Create Thursday-017

I enjoyed embossing my little framelits heart with the Chevron Embossing Folder. I then matted with the Scallop Heart Embosslit in Razzleberry Ripple. My Title was made with the Broadsheet Alphabet "my" and the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die.

I also liked making 3 x 3 Whisper White squares to add some dimension with the Ch-e-v-r-o-n Embossing Folder again! :)
Here my embellishment is the crown from the stamp set Dress Up. I stamp and then punched with the Ornament Punch. I just
like that shape. Mydaughter loves it! I added a Razzleberry Ripple
heart punched with the Owl Punch.

These little ones give me much to do, much to think about and their energy is contagious...I am the one blessed to be encouraged by them. This is why I count this page as my rendition for the Another Freeking Scrappy Challenge on the theme of My Passion.
Hop over to their cool site...I have been enjoying it so much.
See the other samples HERE!
Girls and flowers go together so the Blossom Punch
together with the Mixed Bunch stamp set is lovely.
Center was inked in Razzleberry Ripple (red) and the flower in
Rich Razzleberry (purple) Oh! Did you see the subtle chevron lines with the
Simply Score BORDERS plate.
My girl loved it!

Well, this is all for today folks! It was ajoy to make this page...my first inspired by a card sketch...and my 3rd page for 2013...so excited to be in the scrapbooking world again and learning from so many talented stampers/scrapbookers. :)

Creative blessings are coming your way!
