New Cool idea with Stampin'UP! Designer Stamp Set- Happy Anniversary

Good morning!
Oooh, so excited to share this cool idea. In the "Get Inspired" blog they through a challenge using the Designer Typeset. Long story short I got so creative with my stamps I forgot the challenge was a COLOR challenge. Oops! Needless to say I did not enter the challenge. Lol! Forgot the colors. But check this out!

Uuuuh, tan emocionada de compartirles esta idea. En el blog "Get Inspired"tiraron un reto usando el set de sellos Designer Typeset. Larga historia corta, me puese tan creativa que se me olvido que era un reto de COLORES. Ups! Ni decirle que jamas entre mi muestra al reto. Que risa! Se me olvido usar esos colores. Mas mire con lo que sali!

Happy Anniversary Card/ Feliz Aniversario

 

I used the conversation bubble as the body for my birdies and one of the "arrow" designs

as the head. The x is for the eye. All included in the new Designer Typeset stamp set, the first

photopolimer set from Stampin'Up! Vaya a verlo!

We love this set! It is so easy to stamp (with no ma-jigging!) and it offers so much versatility. How many backgrounds can you come up with? Have you put a bend in the banner or an arrow yet?

Scallops everywhere! One of my favorite layouts

Good day everyone!
Buen dia a toditos!

I had some time to play with scallops after I saw this challenge to use scallops in one of my favorite challenges blog LESS IS MORE. Problem was I could NOT stop! I really love this layout...with the Square scallop on the outside... do you have a favorite layout?
This is the one I entered for the challenge.

Tuve un ratito para jugar con la formita de concha ya luego que vi este reto en LESS IS MORE (menos es mas). El problema es que ya despues no pude para! Me gusta mucho este esquema...con el cuadrado festoneado en la parte de afuera...tienes un esquema favorito?
Esta es la que entre para el reto.

Recipe/Receta:

 

I used my Big shot first to cut Pool Party CS with the Scallop Square Die.

Use mi cortadora Big Shot para cortar la cartulina Pool Party (azulita) con el troquel Scallop Square (cuadrado de conchitas)

 

Then I cut a piece of 4' x 8" Very Vanilla Cardstock and scored/fold in half.

Luego corte un pedazo de 4" x 8" de cartulina vainilla y lo doble a mitad.

 

Next a piece of 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" Very Vanilla and a 3 14/16" x 3 14/16" in Basic Black.

Proximo corte un pedazo de C. Vainilla a 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" y uno de C Negra a 3 14/16" x 3 14/16"

 

 

Last I punched a Cherry Cobbler 1 1/4" Scallop Circle.

Por ultimo ponche Cartulina Cherry Cobbler (rojo) con el ponchador de circulo festoneado 1 1/4"

 

Stamped my new A Round Array "gracias" and punched it with the new 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch.

Estampe mi nuevo set Variedades "gracias" y lo ponche con el nuevo ponchador de circulos festoneados 7/8"

 

This was truly my favorite and the first I made. Love this paper...first time I get to use it. The sentiment comes from one of the stamp sets available only to demosntrators in the demo website. I love when I meet other people who are inspiring and who have dreams...this one is for a special one.

 

Esta fue mi favorita. Me encanta este papel...la primera vez que lo uso. El mensajito viene de un set de sellos disponible solo para demonstradoras en el sitio de web para demos. Me fascina cuando conozco gente linda que son inspirantes y que tienen suenos grandes...esta es para una de esas personas especiales.

 

Here I used the Designer Series Paper World Spectacular. The colors are Island Indigo, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla. Which one do you like the most?

 

Aqui use el papel: World Spectacular. Los colores son Island Indigo (azul), Cheery Cobbler (rojo), Very Vanilla. Coloree la estrellita con el marcador daffodil Delight y le anandi una joyita de imitacion.

Last one...but Oh so cute...I made a thank you note size 3" x 3". I can tell I will be using this new set a LOT! Is so easy to use. It comes in English too. Il post some more soon.
La ultima...pero tan chulita...hice una tarjetita de gracias 3" x 3". Puedo decirle que estare usando este set de sellos bien a menudo. Es tan facil de usar! Viene en ingles tambien. Pronto posteo mas.

Patterned Occasions Cards Winner and a bit of This and That!

Hello my friends,
I'l just peek in today to show you some cuties I made for my wonderful club ladies. Honestly I would not be a demo without them. They are all creative and awesome. They truly inspire me! Thanks my dear ones. I made a cute treat for each of them using my Designer Typeset Photopolymer Stamps. I truly like the crispness of this type of stamp...check out the little arrow! So easy to stamp on top of the sentiment "Happy Easter" from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Vine un ratito a ensenarles los paquetitos tan chulitos que les hice a las miembros de mi club de mujeres. Honestamente yo no podria ser una demo sin ellas. Son todas muy creativas y encantadoras. Realmente me inspiran! Gracias mis amadas. Decore estos lindos paquetitos con el nuevo set Designer Typeset, sellos totalmente transparentes. Me gusta mucho como estampan...miren que chulita la flecha! Tan facil de estamparla encima del sentimiento "happy easter" del set Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Here hoping this weekend goes very slow for you so you can rest and craft a little too! Let me share with you a cute little treat box you may find very fun to make. I finally edited both my English and Spanish. Hope you enjoy them...Yipee!!

Hola mis queridas amigas!

Espero tengan un fin de semana muy lento y que puedan descansar y crear un poquito tambien! Dejeme compartirle una cajita bien bonita para regalitos pequenitos que va a disfrutar hacer con su Simply Scored Tool. Finalmente pude editar en ingles y espanol mis videos. Espero los disfrute...Yipee!

EDITED 03/09/2013: A friend gave me this idea in the comments and I loved it so here it is...you get 6 Triangular boxes out of a 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. Just cut your 12 x 12 into a 6 x 12". Then cut on the 12' side at the 3" mark 3 times. You will end up having (6) 3" x 6" strips to make your treats boxes. Rebekah will used these as confetti boxes for a wedding, my other friend Jessica Adams will used them as treat boxes for her daughter's birthday. How cool is THAT! Thanks dear ones for sharing your awesome ideas.

EDITADO EN LA NOCHE DEL 03/09/2013: Dos amigas compartieron ideas abajo en los comentarios. Rebekah usara estas cajitas para confetti en una boda y Jessica para golosinas en el cumpleanos de su nina. Rebekah sugirio cortar el papel 12"x 12"en dos pedazos de 12"x 6" luego cortar cada pedazo 12"x 6" en 4 pedazos de 3" x 6". Que nitido, verdad! Gracias amigas por sus ideas encantadoras!

I love sharing with you the little tidbits I suddenly get, go hide in my craft room and make. Let me share with you today how I am looking for ways to use my scraps of beautiful Designer Series Paper. Every little scrap counts, eh!


A mi me gusta mucho compartir los pequenos detallitos que me vienen de repente a la mente que me inspiran para ir corriendo a mi cuartito a estampar un poquito. Ahora ando viendo ideitas para usar mis pequenos pedacitos de papel que me sobran, lo que llamamos los 'scraps'. Cada pedacito cuenta, eh!

My secret weapon here...my Pinwheel Sizzlits and some brads.

Here I used some Cardstock in Tempting Turquoise and Very Vanilla.

Every time I engage in a new challenge, I learn something new. Last week I shared a tip with one of the cards I presented. The reverse-masking technique with the spritzer. Today Il show you another simple tip way below...

Cada vez que participo de un reto de sellos yo aprendo y practico cositas nuevas. La semana pasada les comparti un tip de la Mascara-Revertida (si asi lo puedo traducir) usando el Rociador de Color o Color Spritzer Tool. Hoy les muestro mas abajo otro pequeno tip...

Mi little Challenge tip for the day/Pequena idea para sus retos de sellos:

When you use your paper piercing tool use some Painter's tape to keep the card in place. It works!

Cuando use su herramienta para perforar use tirro removible como el de pintor para mantener la tarjeta en su lugar. :)

Hello my dear ones! Today a bit of stamping inspiration and many blessings for a restful weekend.
Yeah is Friday! Wonder if that means something to stay at home with little kids moms like me, lol! It does, it does...I give myself more grace on the weekends to play...thou I like to do a lot of laundry...so enjoy even that!

Sooo, what could be sweeter than a girly card. :) This from someone who totally loves handmade cards (or all types of cards really). :) I made this card a while ago for my BFF birthday...I got some spanish sentiments, yipee!

Good news, look to your right (on the upper right corner) what I won a couple of days ago. My first badge! Is so fun to do this challenges. I was one of the 3 picks for that challenge were I posted my  "My blessings" scrapbook layout. What an encouraging blessings. Thanks again Connie and Mary!

Let me also share a cute greeting I made for a friend using my new app. Yes my Stampin'Up! Simply Sent Application. How fun eh! They just made a recent update so we received for free new templates, including this one. I was able to send this to my friend through text and also through email. Is so fun! Always creating, even if is simple is a blessing.

Good day everyone!

On Stampin'Up! demonstrator's website we find tons of inspiration. The other other day while browsing the showcase of art (which is awesome by the way), I found a challenge made from a demonstrator to other demonstrators.

 

Challenges are fun! They keep you creating and making good use of the materials you already have. My first take on the sketch I stamped my Swallowtail butterfly on a Top Note die cut. I then adhered to my card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2" finished size) and embossed with my Woodgrain Embossing folder and Big Shot. Last I placed my sentiment from Spanish Stampin'Up! set "Solo para ti", in English is "Made for you" punched out with the Modern Label punch. Then added some cute Bitty Buttons on the side :).

I like the sketch a lot, so I made a different card with the same.

Swallowtail thanks

Following up with my "make simple cards" goal I made this one to repeat 15 more times and sent out of the country. I have a wonderful immediate and distance family whom received us this last Christmas with all types of blessings.

The least to do is to say thanks...gracias, since they all speak Spanish :)

On this card I got to ink my new stamp Swallowtail Butterfly. It is lovely. I really like that you can make simple cards and also great elegant cards with it. Some of my scrappages will see this butterfly soon, is the perfect size.
