My Pumpkin Challenge: Treats and Tags

This weekend  I chose to celebrate all those moms around me that are always so awesome!
I winged some Mini-Milk Carton boxes with some retired paper (one of my faves!) and made these Mother's Day tags to embellish them with.

Gotta say I love having this My Paper Pumpkin kit….the 3 fun stamps are great!
What has been your favorite My Paper Pumpkin so far?
Comment below :)

I love using Washi Tape to close these, and those cute clothespins came in my
All in the Bag My Paper Pumpkin kit. Isn't that great!

I made some cute tags with the Apothecary Framelits, I doubled them and glued them together.
Add a Bitty Butterfly Punch in Cherry Cobbler with a few Basic Pearls.

Each cute box was filled with love and chocolates Hershey kisses.

I love showing you all the little things I make with My Paper Pumpkin.
If you stopped by my site and like them, would you leave me your love with your comments below? :)

Saying Goodbye to my Stamps

Good day everyone, who said saying goodbye was easy. If you are a stamper like me, you know you totally fall in love with certain stamps and think they will exist forever. :) Well, Field Flowers is one of those, and since it retires this year I decided to show you my last projects with it. I have one more, need to take a photo. You will love the Second Generation effect.

After stamping my flowers on Whisper White Cardstock,
I inked the whole piece of CS with Versamark and then poured Iridescent Ice all over it.
Last step, heat set.

It is so much more pretty in person. It shines shines!
I added the beautiful Calipso Coral Ruffle Ribbon, that one is already gone :(
Cut the 2 1/2" circle for added interest.

Same sketch, different idea.
Stamping on Designer Series Paper.
You can also see the Second Generation Stamping inside the circle.
I stamped first on yellow (Daffodil Delight) with flower #1, then on blue
(Pacific Point) on top. Love the effect.

So simple, but love it!
Second Generation Stamping allows you to have a stamped two tone image very easily by stamping first one image in one color and a coordinating image on top with another color of ink. If you see the stamp itself you will se how it allows for this to be done so easily with stunning results.

Absolutely will miss this stamp set.
Farewell dear Field Flowers, let's see what the new catalog will bring for me.
Can't wait for another Second Generation stamping set. Love these!

Check the products retiring HERE…and if still there get this beautiful stamp.

Which one is your favorite card?
Have you tried these techniques before?
Hope to inspire you a bit to use your wonderful stamps.

You are so awesome! Let me remind you…we are all waiting for you to display His light and Shine!
Be free to create beauty around you and make a difference.

Holding you in my prayers always,

Beautiful Days

Good morning my dear friend,
There are so many good things going on in my life, my ministry and my business. God is good and I'm excited He is opening new doors. Im sharing with you some easy cards today, easy ideas made possible with my favorite tool (for sure!) the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine.

In this first card I used the Laid Embossing technique.
I took several punched circles and glue them to a Tempting Turquoise 4" x 5 1/4".
Then I dry-embossing with the Square Lattice textured Embossing Folder. This is one of my most used Embossing folders and sadly is retiring at the end of this month. :(

TIP:
To add my ribbon I cut a piece a bit longer than 4" and tape it with regular Scotch tape to the back. I then added my bunny ears bow with a glue dot to my ribbon in the front.

My sentiment is from Best of Birthdays and was punch with the Modern Label Punch.

My next card was made using the lovely Birthday Cake stamp. It is also retiring…boooo!
I love the versatility of this stamp. It looks gorgeous in one color and even better when stamped using markers, as shown here.
I then use the Bitty Banners stamp set and add it with dimensionals. I used my Apothecary Accents framelits in Tangerine Tango and Texture Embossed with the Chevron. My tempting Turquoise was embossed with the Perfect PolkaDots Embossing Folder.

So many things are retiring quick…if you would like to see what's available check HERE!

Can you tell I love dry-embossing? Is easy and beautiful. Stampin'Up! Has so many different designs.

Which one is your favorite folder? Do you have a different technique as your favorite? Your go to?

Thank you for visiting my creative spot today! Hoping you leave inspired, so check my tutorials to the right and come to one of my classes! My next one if May 24th, June 13 and June 21st.

Ideas for Mom with Stampin'Up!

Hope you are all having a beautiful week getting ready to celebrate our moms. I've been occupied with much, mainly my best enterprise ever, my home. So let me just share a few ideas for Mother's Day or other moments when you simply want others to feel loved and appreciated.
Stamp set People Like You…I so wish this stamp set carry over to the new catalog but it won't. If you like it a lot I recommend you order it before June 2nd. Otherwise, it will retire. :(
In this card I stamped it on Very Vanilla using Blushing Bride (pink) ink and accent it with Gold Foil which and the gold washi tape Stampin'Up! brought in the Occasions Catalog.

The inside

Close up the Decorative Label Punch, I punched a second layer to place under out of the Gold Foil. Such a versatile Specialty Paper.

This is a box I created a few weeks ago for a sweet occasion.
I used one of the Stampin'Up! Kraft Boxes  and embellished it with Stampin'Up! goodies.
The flower is the Spiral Flower Die in Razzleberry Ripple. One of my fave In-Colors, is leaving this month. Under it I place a Blossom Flower Punch in Pacific Blue…I liked the contrast.

To embellish I used:
Gold Bakers Twine and Gold Glitter with Tombow MultiAdhesive Glue (my favorite adhesive!).

I punched the little gold circles with the Itty Bitty Punch and for the sentiment I used

Wondering what are you all creating these days. Days are going too quick, pace yourself. Tell those you love you love them and enjoy life more abundantly. God is in a good mood always.
Sending you all peace.

My Pumpkin Challenge: Tags Everywhere!

Today at My Pumpkin Challenge we are introducing a new challenge: Tags Everywhere!
Check it out today, you have till the first week of June to participate and link your creations.

I wanted to use all my little tags from the new My Paper Pumpkin kit on a scrapbook layout.
This event happened here recently and lately it works better for me if I scrapbook the pictures quickly. That way I don't forget my journaling which in this case is written behind the two little tags that say "Take Note" and the one with the heart.

I was inspired by the vanilla color in the photos, but my tags were white so I made a mixed of Primrose Petals (CS base), Very Vanilla and Whisper White. I enjoyed making these pages and love how neat it is to use My Paper Pumpkin to scrapbook. :)

I loved using the Gold Ink Stampin'Up! carries, is so rich and pretty. Went perfectly with my page. The arrows were for the new kit and "Take Note" was from a past kit I can't remember the name, hehe! And the Heart from Hello to You!

This flower was made with the Floral Framelits, i cut each petal till the center and bent upward and embellished with a few circles punched with the Itty Bitty Punch and the Gold Foil that came on Glittered Greetings. Also the squares for the pictures on the top tags were from that foil. :)
This extra button is from the Vintage Designer Series Buttons. The little ones on the other page came with the newest kit. :)

Tip: Place one of those gold circles from Glittered Greetings behind the button for added shine. ;)
To adhered my Gold Baker's Twine I used my favorite adhesive: Tombow Multiadhesive Glue.
Love you! Thanks for visiting my creative space today.
