Cardmaking

is one of my favorite things to do. My life is full of chores and to-do lists. Besides being a wife, homeschool Mom to my three musketeers and running after a 1 year old baby I enjoy crafting to cheer the broken hearted and connect my friends to Jesus.

All is my One Little Word

Yes, I am a believer and love connecting all I do to Him. My Rock, my Redeemer, Jesus. "Love the Lord your God with ALL your heart, ALL your soul, ALL your mind." Matthew 22:37 This word captured my heart this year. It makes sense now I see it everywhere in the Bible. All means all. What a blessing His promises are to you and me.

God is able

In yesterday's tutorial I shared a thought on this Bible verse 2 Corinthians 9:8 "And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in ALL things, at ALL times, having ALL that you need. you will abound in every good work."

My One Little Word for 2022

When I stamp I know I am pleasing God! 

He created me to be creative and impart that same joy to others. He created me to love Him with my ALL, with everything in me, with my whole heart and soul and mind. I find great delight and a sense of purpose in cheering the broken-hearted through my creativity and connecting others in this way to Jesus. 

Welcome to 2022! 

Welcome to my blog and to my OLW (One Little Word), in this new year. After much prayer and consideration I chose this word as a word to explore during this year and get to see ALL He has intended for my life. A word to help me consistently find ways to love Him with ALL of my heart, soul and mind. Hope you find your own little word and venture in seeking much more of Jesus. Nothing compares to sharing life with Him. I even share my stamping, first because is a gift He has given me and second because truly without Christ I truly can do nothing. He is my ALL and ALL. Today I share with you my OLW, All. 

  

In the book Created to Create by Jordan Raynor, the author shares, "One way to love our neighbor is to do work we are gifted at." He also asked, "Is the work we are doing the best thing we can do to glorify God and love our neighbor?" What a refreshing look at our calling to be creative. Appreciating the different gifts God has given us and using them ALL for His glory is so inspiring to me in many ways. May you find comfort in knowing each and Every gift you have has been given for your benefit and the benefit of those around you.

Start this year growing in the knowledge of Jesus and stamping for the audience of One. He does the rest! 

Tomorrow I will share my goal for 2022. So excited to see what God will do this year in my life, in those around me and in our world. He never stops loving!

Eden's Garden Collection Simple Cardmaking

Making Simple Cards do NOT need to be difficult at all. 

I will always encourage you to use what you have and stamp blessings as able for those you love.

For this card I use the gorgeous Eden's Garden Collection.The recipe for this card is here below and you can make it with any other stamp sets as well.

 

A good tip to follow when stamping the beautiful flourish in the Eden Garden Stamp Set is to use your Stamparatus and stamp twice inking the stamp twice. In this case I used Highland Heather.

The image is absolutely delightful and I can't wait to use in other colors.

Consider this: The Stamp set and Dies WILL be available in the new Mini Catalog which starts June 4th, 2022; BUT not the gorgeous Specialty papers, Cotton Paper and Gorgeous Garden Gems.

Daydreaming of Stamping

Hope you all made beautiful Christmas memories. 

The main event already happened many years ago. "For God so loved the world that He sent His ONLY begotten Son, so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but has everlasting life." 

John 3:16

Emmanuel, God with us. Indeed, He is enough.

Super quick update from overseas and thinking of each of you as I write this. Our plans were changed as we arrived to visit my In-Laws mid-December to celebrate Christmas. To make our (crazy convoluting) story short, I will share that short after arriving we all got sick, got tested for Covid and were given a positive report for all my children and I. Wonder who took care of all of them consistently?

Christmas plans were cancelled and I spent a cozy simple Christmas eve with just my hubby and kids on the second floor of my Mother in Love's home. They have been extra attentive, keeping us well fed and taking care of every need. Sisters in Love showered us with snacks and more as well and my children received Christmas gifts they are so thankful about.

I am GREATful all of them recovered well and at this point none have symptoms at all, including myself. We will continue to be in isolation as per CDC guidelines before traveling back home hopefully next week. Omicron apparently IS very contagious. Vaccinated Mom's opinion here.  I am GREATful for the days we got to spend together enjoying the beach BEFORE sickness stroke. I am GREATful we are surrounded by love even when obligated to slow down and be still. Yes GREAtful and Grateful...He fills my cup day after day.

Christmas Day enjoying wonderful breakfast and counting our blessings.

In the meantime I am daydreaming of stamping and planning some great content for you my stampers for our new year 2022! Aren't you excited to Start again? 

Yes, I am. That is my super power, starting over. Haha.

My boy got to see the ocean for the first time in his life.

I have moved many times in my lifetime, maybe more than 10 for sure. We moved homes, states, jobs, churches, friends... not easy. each time though I can testify as today His goodness followed me into every new place, every new church, every new home. I pray His goodness follows you and me into this next year 2022.
