Happy Mother's day!
In Central America Mother's Day is always celebrated the 10th of the month...and indeed I got so inspired to celebrate that made this morning a new scrapbook page with the wonderful MDS (My Digital Studio) celebrating my own motherhood. I love being a mommy to two girls and this sweet little boy!

To make the butterfly I just cut two top petals from the flower after stamping and punching. I placed one on top of the other with dimentionals and embellished with some knoted ribbon!
Para hacer la mariposa solo corte dos petalos de mi flor en la parte de arriba despues de estampar y ponchar. Puse una encima de la otra con dimensionales y la adorne con una cinta con un nudito!

I used verything included in my package and added some Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
and Basic Black. I used my Big Shot to add some dimension with the Lacy Brocade
to punch a piece of Summer Starfruit DSP from Birds of a Feather. Yikes! I really got excited eh!?
Use todo lo incluido en mi kit y anadi cartulina color Cherry Cobbler y Basic Black. Use ademas mi Big Shot con el folder de textura Lacy Brocade y uno de los Designer Frames. Por ultimo, use uno de los framelits Coleccion Etiquetas y un Ponchador de Ovalos para cortar un poco de papel de disenador color Summer Starfruit (amarillo oscuro) del papel Birds of a Feather. Chispas! Si que me emocione con esto!

So today as I aproached my computer while enjoying a hot oatmeal with pecans and honey I thought "I wont rush". Do you have a type of card that is just hard for you to make? Well, I do!! Baby cards...gee! The one card that I need the most in this season of life. Do you have any idea how many of my friends were pregnant this year...lol! Yeap..confession time. Baby cards are the hardest to make but tx God I got some awesome inspiration to make one simple card today. See! I only needed a little help..yeah sure!

Tienes ideas cuantas de mis amigas han estado embarazadas este a~o? Se me hacen super duras de hacer...solo necesitaba un chin de inspiracion...si claro, un poquito!
This idea started slooowly and took place on my brain this week seeing several challenges that inspired me. First I chose this image, my little lion from the retired set "Fox and Friends", so cute. Then, I knew I wanted to experiment with washi tape. The Gray one is from the This and That line and the yellow is a sneak peek from the New Catalog launching May 31st.

Esta idea comenzo lentooo y tomo lugar en mi mente despues de ver varios retos que me inspiraron. Primero escogi la imagen del leoncito, parte del set de sellos "Fox and Friends" que ya se retiro. Que lindo! Luego, queria experimentar con 'washi tape'. El gris es de la linea "Esto y Aquello" y el amarillo es un adelante del Nuevo Catalogo que sale en Mayo 31.

What do I need to do to participate?
Is simple, go to the My Paper Pumpkin website HERE and subscribe to the monthly fun kits. Now is even easier to subscribe. Will take you to my own subscribers page as your demonstrator.
As soon as you get your products you will have about 10-11 days before the new challenges is up. Challenge will start every 1st day of the next month after you receive your package. Create and post your creations there. You may win a badge and also occasional Giveaways! I got my April's kit close to the 21st of the month (in Texas), so the 1st of May I was ready for this challenge.
Come and join me! Participate or just get isnpired...there are so many cool and creative demonstrators and crafters out there I wanted to bring them all together to one place so you could be inspired and it becomes easy for you to create simple to out-of-the-box projects with the My Paper Pumpkin line. Ready, set, craft!

I used a Basic Black Marker to handwrite "You rock!"
Use un marcador Negro Basico para escribir a mano "You rock!" (te botaste, eres un exito)
The only thing I added to my kit was Whisper White CS for my base. Love these papers!
