Memory Keeping with Cards | Fluttering Garden Paper Pumpkin

Who said cardmakers can't do memory keeping layouts? 

Today I am sharing a fun and easy way to use your completed cards in your albums. Both as a display of beauty as much as a journaling place. 

A couple of years ago I lead an online memory keeping club named with cardmakers and I have two beautiful albums to testify of His goodness!

I am considering opening it once more. Praying for the right time.

BASE:  BASIC WHITE 12" X 12"

LAYER 1: 11 3/4" X 11 3/4" NATURE WALK DSP

PHOTO PLACE CARDS: 4" X 4" (1) & 4" X 6" (1)

A2 SIZE POOL PARTY ENVELOPE FROM KIT, I CUT THE TOP FLAP TO LEAVE IT OPEN FOR EXTRA MEMORABILIA

ONE COMPLETED CARD FRONT FROM THE KIT MOUNTED ON A SHEET OF 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" CARDBASE OF PETAL PINK CARDSTOCK

Mother's Day photos.

 I want to be INTENTIONAL in my memory keeping and remember what is good and lead my heart toward gratitude instead of regret. My Mom moved to heaven about 2 years ago. I know I miss her, even MORE than usual on Mother's Day. Still, I want to fix my eyes on the Lord and give thanks for the moments we lived together and for the ones I know live with my own children.

This week I made this two-page layout using cards I made with the March 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit Fluttering Garden to embellish and journal into. It is the perfect hiding spot.

SIMPLICITY

I long for the simple things.

This card is simple.

Life at times feels so complicated. STILL there is the invitation from our Savior to simplicity.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Don’t be led astray from the simplicity of the gospel. (1 Cor. 11:3)
