Celebrating my Girl's Graduation

I use all my Stampin'Up! products to create pages as a way to commemorate victories and remember God's promises. One of the promises that kept me going when things have been difficult in my journey is found on Isaiah 54:13 "All of your children will be taught by the Lord and great will be your children's peace."

As a homeschool Mom, who truly has no time to add much to her agenda, I make time to record truth. I do this in the form of journaling as well as taking notes on my phone, and scrapbooking. His Word says in Psalm 103:2, "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits" Serving the Lord Jesus Christ has been THE best decision I've made in my life. I took this leap of faith when I was only 17 years old, the summer before entering high school. Since then, my life has been blessed in so many ways. The best, is being able to walk with God each and every season. Motherhood is challenging, add to that schooling at home! Haha! Yes, is not only challenging but rewarding.

This day was truly precious to me. For our last 12th grade homeschool evaluation I made a special cover for her portfolio. These are the results. I am very proud of the sweet lady she has become. My dearest Hannah. I am so excited to see what God has in store for you and I consider myself blessed to call you mine.

Tip: I enjoy leaving open spaces to journal inside my layouts. Many timed I hide them so they remain secret for only the person to read in the future. My children ARE aware of this. :)

In this case I used the envelope flap to let me add a journaling card on the inside.

Most of my layout was created using a Kit Collection kit called Your Day to Shine. How fitting and so easy to use. I cut a sheet of Country Woods Designer Series Paper to 8 1/2" x 11" as my foundation. Love the gold tones on it. I also embellish a bit with the Cap & Gown Stamp set by Stampin'Up!
