God has been so faithful to us. My most beautiful Thanksgiving since I married and precious time to ponder on His blessings. Yeap, I had my moments of chaos, messes and tears like any mom out there. BUT, is moments like these and photos that capture those moments that help me realize how blessed I am.
I have so much to show you that I've been doing with Project Life. What about I start today?
Let me start by saying…no stress, easy, ENJOYing scrapbooking style.
I love this photo of my little boy. Captures the wonder of his soul and his innocence.
TIP-O-TIP:
Don't cover the picture. Add a bit of washi tape on the side of it as an accent and maybe a cool phrase on the bottom (like I did). This Washi Tape comes with the Seasonal Snapshots Part 2, found in this Holiday Catalog. The labels also come with the accents kit.
This is my first page of Fall 2014 in my Holidays Album
I started this album a while ago documenting our whereabouts during Fall & Winter Holidays. I pull it out every year and my children and husband love looking through its pages.
TIP-O-TIP
Use "the kit"! The Seasonal Snapshot accents kit is precious and brings so much you can use. The wooden stars and those cute 2" x 2" cards are great. To add some sparkle to this spot I placed a 3/4" cicle of Gold Glimmer paper (is on the weekly deals till Monday!) behind that star. And glued it with my favorite glue, the Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I wanted to put a BIG title here so I used one of my retired Big Shot Dies to cut these letters.
Then made banners from Cherry Cobbler, island Indigo and White covered with the washi tape).
I made a bow out of this Gold Cord -I LOVE it and is retiring…in January, boo!
TIP-O-TIP
If you want to bring in more color to a card. Punch a semi-circle on an area were the back card shows. I made sure I knew WHAT was going to be showing through it. Yay! Love it!
The cards and accents collection bring with it such neat clips and die cuts. But my favorite thing is the different fonts found in each set. Love these two types of letter, so I used both.
Again added some bling with a gold glitter paper star punch with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch.
TIP-O-TIP FOR BEGINNERS
Take your time. Start however, but start using your kits.
Start with the cards you like, or start with the pictures, or the journaling.
Keep it simple…don't finish all at once. Enjoy it, come back to it.
Add a bling here and there and be done for the day. WHY pressure ourselves. ENJOY documenting your stories.
