MAKE IT SIMPLE MONDAY: Use your Scraps

About a month ago I was sharing ideas on how to use your scraps of pretty paper! 

Here is another idea!

To make your stamping simple, start with what you have!
Use your pretty papers and even the scraps, Yay! The feeling of accomplishment is amazing.


I found a bunch a strips. Different sizes from this beautiful paper and decided to put it to good use. 

I used the flowers printed on this design to also embellish my card. And a sentiment from the Build a Cake stamp set.

The picture doesn't show well but there is a gold strip that makes this card

so pretty!

On another note!

I was reading a book to my son the other day and this caught my attention.

When you live with your focus on Heaven (high up there!) you can float, fly, flip and have fun because your Father cares for you! "Nothing holds you down".

What a powerful way to live. BE ENCOURAGED!

A friend sent me this a few weeks ago.

I gotta say, Noelia knows how to be creative and use her stash.

Don't you think is the cutest thing...btw, has cash inside! Whohooo!

Is a paper roll...but stronger, so not sure which one she used. :)

HOW DO YOU USE YOUR SCRAPS?

Do you donate them (to where?), do you reuse them (on what?) or do you store them for 200 years? Hehe! 
Use what you have to create blessings for others.

It is powerful! Cards are powerful....defeat frustration, stress, anxiety with a card. Bring hope through them and speak LIFE. Your cards matter!

Paper Pumpkin Contest: Get it Done!

Last month I met with my Paper Pumpkin Peeps for our monthly 'Get It done' afternoon.

When I joined Paper Pumpkin 3+ years ago I started a blog challenge called My Pumpkin Challenge. It was a wonderful season of finding great ideas with our kits. I share a ton of different ideas and alternate ideas online, BUT I rarely share the kits  with others. I would sadly keep them cause I was so focused on simply making alternates....so this year *after much prayer* I decided to go a different route. I chose to make a difference lifting others up with Paper Pumpkin. Making them as is and SHARING what I make as quick as possible and #liftothersupwithpaperpumpkin 

So there you have it! Now let the fun begin!
From today to November 10th I will have a contest between all of my Paper Pumpkin Peeps!

What to do? :)

1. Do your project kit. Half way is fine, totally done EVEN better!

2. Take a photo of you -could be only your smile, your eyes, your hair-but gotta be YOU with your project done!

Make it Simple Monday: Kits

I LOVE bringing you samples of what I am doing with the kits Stampin'Up! offers.

To make my life SIMPLER I have chosen to be a Stampin'Up! girl. I purchase all my products online through the company I love and eliminate the crazy hassle of looking for a hundred products that coordinate together PLUS the outings to crafts stores with several kids on tow (which will ask for the store). 

To make my life simpler, I have chosen to create MAINLY with kits and show you how versatile they can be EVEN when I am dragging tired after a productive day. 

To make my life SIMPLER I actually read the instructions on my kits. WHO DOES THAT?
Hihi, I do! That way I know the way my product was intended to be used. 

To make my life SIMPLER I still connect with people one-to-one and send snail mail like the old days.

To make my life SIMPLER, I am decluttering, giving more, sharing more, donating more and throwing away more stuff.

To make my life SIMPLER, I pray daily. Wake crazily early to be able to be transformed by God's Word. Believe me I need this every single day or else I am a grumpy bear and not able to be "clear-minded and self-controlled. :)

I believe all these choices and more make my life SIMPLER.
