Candlelight Christmas DSP and Fabulous Friday Challenge

 

Hello again my dear friends,
Here a sample of what could be made with this precious flocked window 12 x 12 paper that comes with the Candlelight Christmas Specialty Paper. Is one of my BFF birthday today and this is the card I sent her. She loves red so I really hope she likes it. She deserves it!!

Hello dear creative friends,

Hola mis queridas amigas creativas,

There is a sweet librarian whom did so much good to me and my girls last year...this year the schoold district moved her talents to another area, still in the same school. Now I don't get to see her as often and surely the library for me and my girls on Thursday afternoon is not the same, My daughter asked me: "Ma, when is Mrs Linda going to come back?" :(
En la escuelita donde llevo a las ninas hay una dulce bibliotecaria que nos bendijo tanto el ano pasado..este ano movieron sus talentos a otra area en la misma escuela. Ahora ya no la vemos tanto y definitivamente la extranamos. Ella hiba la milla extra. Mi nina mayor me pegunto: "Ma, cuando va a regresar la senora Lynda?" :(

This little project was made with her in my mind. Just a little reminder to let her know we truly appreciate what she does and the seeds of love she has sown.

Voy a compartir con ustedes tarjetas simples durante el mes de noviembre y les recordare el mantener las celebracions simples tal que podamos disfrutar y estar contentos con todo lo que Dios ha puesto en nuestras manos. Escuche a un autor de Reddings, CA decir estas palabras y me encanta: "Dios esta de buen humor!" Disfrute su dis! Use sus talentos y siga el llamado de su vida...es simple!



INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Stamp your FROM THE HEART sentiment on Calipso Coral Cardstock
2. Die cut this the Apothecary  framelits
3. Die cut a bigger size of framelits on Lucky Limeade
4. Glue together and emboss with Elegant Lines, or emboss the back only with Square Lattice EF, then glue.
5. Punch a hole on the top and thread ribbon.

INSTRUCCIONES:
1. Estampe su verso con FROM MY HEART en cartulina color Calipso Coral
2. Corte este con su Big Shot y los Framelits llamados Apothecary
3. Corte un Framelits mas grande para el mat de atras.
4. Pegue ambas y luego hagale relieve con Elegant Lines EF, o hagale relieve a la parte de atras con Square Lattice EF y luego pegue.
5. Perfore un hoyito arriba y pase la cinta de su gusto.

Thank you Treasures / Tesoros de agradecimiento

Like many of you already know I live grateful of all I've been given, so my main theme for cards goes toward thank you cards. ;) And here is one more! Let me share with you one of the stamp sets that got my attention right away when the new catalog came live. Is called World Treasures.

Como muchos de ustedes ya saben yo vivo agradecida de todo lo que se me ha dado en la vida; por lo que muchas veces mi creatividad se inclina a hacer tarjetas de gracias. Y aqui una mas para ustedes. Dejeme mostrarles un set de sellos de goma que capto mi atencion tan pronto el catalogo salio el pasado junio. Se llama "World Treasures" o Tesoros del mundo.

Look how beautiful this bird is. I wanted to make the peacock stand out a bit so I placed tiny little pearls on him. Also try a paper bow for the fisrt time. Mine is simple...was made with two Large Oval Punch pieces bent in the middle (but not pressed), then adhered with a glue dot to each other and with a glue dot to the paper. I learned a similar bow technique from Stampin'Up! fabulous demonstrator Connie Collins. Click HERE to see her tutorial.

Miren que bonito es. Quise hacer que el pavito reluciera mas asi que lo decore con muchas perlitas y para completar anadi un lazo de papel. La primera vez que lo hago con el ponchador grande de ovalos (Large Oval Punch). Doble cada uno a la mitad sin apretarlos y los pegue con puntitos de pega (glue dots).  Aprendi este detalle de una demonstradora de Stampin'Up! fabulosa llamada Connie Collins. Petite Purse Dress Tutorial

Good Day my dear readers,
Here is another idea I came up with to give as party favors. Since I got the Petite Purse Die from Stampin'Up! I thought I could make many things with it. This is one. Hope you like it, and IF YOU DO, leave me a comment here and go make someone happy with a cute little dress filled with chocolates! These could be used for Briday Showers, Baby Showers, Wedding Rehearsal Dinners or more. I made about 15 for a wonderful group of ladies that came to my Inspire meeting last week.
Enjoy and God bless your creativity. Activate your creative side and make your world beautiful. My ideas come from HIM, every good gift comes from Heaven.

Aqui otra idea que se me ocurrio hace unas semanas. Desde que recibi el Petite Purse Die, el de la carterita paso pensanod en que otras maneras lo puedo usar. Esta es una de ellas. Espero les guste Y SI LES GUSTA dejenme un mensajito aqui y ya luego van a crear bellezas para sus amigas. Estos trajecitos se pueden usar para fiestas de mamas, Tes para el bebe, Recepcion del dia antes de Boda...tantas maneras e ideas. Que disfruten y activen su creatividad.  Mis ideas provienen del cielo...cada cosa linda proviene de El.

Tutorial Instructions
(From left to right and Top to bottom)

1. Cut your CS to 51/2" x 5". Positioned as shown on top of your Petite Purse Die and cut leaving the top off. Then cut the extra top as shown.
1. Corte su carulina 5 1/2" x 5". Coloque como muestra la foto en su PP die dejando fuera la parte de arriba.
2. Emboss using your Fancy Fan EF as shown in the picture. The front of my dress is actually the back of the original purse. Fold on the creases and assemble. Then Punch one Ornament and one Lg Oval shapes with your punches.
2. Repuje la cartulina como muestra la foto. La parte delantera de mi trajecito es realmente la parte trasera de la carterita. Doble en los pliegues y arme la cajita. Luego ponche un adorno navideno y un ovalo grande con las perforados de Stampin'Up! Ornament y Large Oval.
3. Pour some Tombow Multipurpose glue on the bottom of your oval and adhere as shown. Cut a V shape on the bottom of your ornament and glue upside down on the back of your oval. When dry place a strip of Sticky Strip on the bottom of your dress and ruffle some ribbon, I used here the Seam Binding ribbon in Crumb Cake. Then make a knot on the waist of your dress. Cute! You are done!
3. Ponga pegamento Tombow en el ovalo como se muestra en la foto. Pegue. Corte el adorno navideno como muestra la foto y pegue. Cuando seque ponga una franja de Sticky Strip en el borde bajo del trajacito y peque la cinta dandole esa formita. Luego haga un lacito en la cinturita del trajecito con cinta. Bonito! Ya acabo!

Paper Ornaments/ Adornos de Papel Tutorial

Stampin'Up! is such a cool company. They shared these tutorials with us demos in our wonderful Demonstrator Website and I just had to share with you'll!! I still don't have these stamp set and framelits...but Oh goodness I am soo tempted to get them! If you already have them...whohoo!
There is a cool promotion going on right now to get them. In the Holiday Mini the Clear stamp bundle includes the framelits...also sold with the wood mount.
