Kindness matters

Hello my dear friends! Yikes! It's been a while I havent' post a thing. Sorry, life happens!! Anyway, Ive been creating in my downtime (ok, I dont really have a downtime, but I make it happen). Im in love with this sweet stamp set. Is a set of about 5 images that I believe you will totally like. The name is Kindness Matters. (Click on the link to see it) Check out my latest creations. The first is a bookmark using the TWO TAGS die and the BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES die. I incorporated the elegant images from Style Beautiful in both samples. The second is a card set I created for a special lady in my life. Her favorite color is white, so I had to be creative. :-) I had to try one with a bit of color though. That one I kept to myself. Hehe!!

Sorry!!

Not long ago I felt like I did something wrong toward a sweet friend. Not intentionally but I believe I offended her. Feeling awful I made this card for her to apologize for my wrong doing. Indeed she forgave me. Uf! Here I share one of my favorite stamps: AWASH WITH FLOWERS. Seems like I can't put it down. With the help of my SQUARE LATTICE  embossing folder and my CRIMPER I made a combination of textures that I hope inspire you to create an array of flowers for those you made sad, or those you made happy.

Today is a good day to pursue peace, forgive those who hurt you, ask those you hurt to forgive you.

Forever again!!

Have mercy!! I keep brainstorming ideas with my new fave "Forever Young". In this one I decided to add some color with  SOFT SUEDE AND PEAR PIZAZZ Markers to the trunk and the leaves after I stamped it in EARLY EXPRESSO. Then I glued little punched dots-from the OWL PUNCH smaller circles- in CAJUN CRAZE cardstock. Still I kept adding more details so I look for my CRYSTAL EFFECTS and a round toothpick. I put just a little on top of each dot and also "crystalized" the flower with it. You have no idea how much I like this stamp set. :-)

Hoping you get inspired...is all in the little things! Remember when things were simpler, cleaner, calmer...enjoy the little things of life and bring back the good memories. The ones that make you who you are.

Hostess Jar

Hello again!! Yesterday we had a wonderful time at my Open House with all my new club members. It was fun and refreshing to see them all having fun and exploring their catalogs and tools. Fun, fun!! Here is the jar I decorated for the Hostess to pick their hostess benefits month. :-) They all like it! I used the ornament punch, crystal effects and some pearls from a broken necklace to created the rose. The leaves are also the Ornament punch folded in half and passed diagonally thru the crimper. For the side flowers I used the scallop circle punch and the Boho blossoms punch. For the border I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch What do you think? Songs of joy

Who doesn't love the Aviary stamp set? I love it!!! So cute, so versatile. Here I cased a CAS (clean &  simple) card from fellow demo Lisa Young. Very quick and easy to do happy birthday card. Stamp sets: Happiest Birthday Ever (hostess set), Aviary and Standard Stampin' Wheel Music Notes. I used several Stampin'Up! circle punches and Stampin Dimensionals to raise the circles. My New favorite

Practically everyday I choose a different "favorite" stamp set, lol!! But for some reason I think this one will keep the favorite title for a while. I already made several sketches with FOREVER YOUNG. Love it!!! I think I like the feeling and memories it brings to  me. Memories of fun, lightness, breathing fresh air, enjoying life to the fullest, the truth of becoming like a child and see life from a different and more positive perspective. So what could I do but pair it with the stamp set STYLE BEAUTIFUL? Ooooh!!! Yes, another one of my newest additions...can you tell how much I enjoy stamping? Thanks God for giving me an opportunity to create beauty for others in our chaotic world. Is sooo good to know YOU are in control, and still in the midst of hard days smile, breathe, give thanks and enjoy the gift of life. Go play with your stamps and let me know what you come up with.

This card is a 5 1/4 by 5 1/4. I stamped the tree image with Peach Parfait Cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I used Early Expresso ink for the sentiment and Life s beautiful images on the background. Added some details with a whisper white organza ribbon folded in half, scallop trim border punch and beautiful pearls.My color combination: Peach Parfait, Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery and Early Expresso. On the inside I embellished with the tree image on versamark which leaves a subtle watermark and the sentiment "Enjoy" from YOU'RE A GEM and flowers from the Itty bitty punch and Boho Blossoms.

Having fun with a Morning Cup!

Ok, I truly enjoyed making these cute bags for my inlaws. I had them over a week ago and wanted to give them something special. They are ALL coffee drinkers and remind me every once in a while that "coffee is a vitamin". So when I saw the stamp set "MORNING CUP" I had to make something pretty with it. My inspiration came from another demo in Stampin Connection (SU demo's website), her name is Nelia Harper and you could take a look at her project here. Thanks Nelia!! Get ready for a good amount of pictures. I used tons of great products from our IB&C, including but not limited to my BIG SHOT, SCALLOP ENVELOPE DIE and the BIGZ L FUN FLOWERS.
