Bill Johnson said during one of his online sermons (minute 5:47) "During war... create" This pastor has been such a blessing to my life in many ways this year. This particular speech blessed me and reminded me to continue doing those things He called me to do.  Taking every thought captive, renegade thoughts warring against me, to the obedience of Christ. It is time to create blessings!

Today I will share some projects I created with the newest Paper Pumpkin kit Warm Wishes and a few from the past kit I created during my Paper Pumpkin INSPIRE meeting. All my subscribers meet every second Thursday of the month in zoom for a time of creativity. Join my subscribers here!

I shared a fun way to use the Winter Wishes Cards and Envelopes Add-ons as a pocket to place your Paper Pumpkin cards this year and give them as gifts. I enjoy giving away my cards as gifts to neighbors and others. Hope you give it a try!

These little house make very special ornaments for your tree or a friend. Add a small picture to the back of it or some sweets on the inside and make it a cute gift that keeps giving.

I so enjoy scrapbooking memories that make me smile. Making gingerbread houses with the kids have been one I truly enjoy. My girls love adding Christmas music in the background while they make their colorful structures. This kit reminded me of this tradition and smiles. Why not make a page that showcases their smiles and little houses. One little one only cares about eating Christmas cookies! 

One of my girls traditions for Christmas is decorating gingerbread houses. I printed some photos from our 2022 Christmas and paired them with the cute Winter Wishes houses. Love the dimension!

I enjoy adding pretty ribbon to mostly everything I create. The ribbon became an extra fun addition to the already packed but easy layout! 

You think scrapbooking is fun? Try hiding journaling or extra pictures. This little one was interested only in eating the cookies or candy. Nothing more! The top house has space for the hidden journaling.

December will soon begin and with it many more tasks get added to our agendas. My plans? To enjoy every moment and have as much fun as possible. I believe there is healing in a hug as much as in a burst of laughter. Stress less, Laugh often. 

"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." Proverbs 17:22

Let's count our blessings and laugh intentionally this month. Jesus is the reason for the season, and indeed Joy to the World the Lord has come, let earth receive their King.

simple sunday thanks

Thanks Coach

My oldest son had a fabulous experience this fall with flag football. One thing that made it so special was Coach Henry. He trusted him to become a stronger quarterback and my boy learned a lot. Not only he blessed him coaching and encouraging him but also gave him a wonderful gift at the end of the season. My son was so grateful, him and my husband asked me to make him a thank you card. 

When does that happen? 

Not often so I made a simple masculine card using the A Walk in The Forest Designer Series Paper and the new available bundle Heartfelt Hexagon. Hey! It coordinates perfectly with the gift card!

reasons to be grateful

Sending you all who read this blog a big THANKS for all your love and friendship through the years.

As my family grows, my ministry and community grows at times no amount of time is enough to share how grateful I am for all you are and do toward God and myself. 

Sharing a few pics from the beautiful Thanksgiving day I spent with my family hosting several families I love and that God gave me as friends here in Pennsylvania. My blood family is doing well and I praise the Lord for pouring mercies over my Mama, whom I've seen happier and stronger in these last days.

During my Blessed Stampers Team Meeting at the beginning of November my friend and demonstrator Cheri Vasquez shared a wonderful fun fold for all of us to try. I loved it and shared how to make it in this VIDEO TUTORIAL HERE. Minute 50:13 starts the fold. Hope you give it a try!

take time to ponder

November was a month of many emotions and transitions. Visiting my Mom in her new home was indeed a need and a frightening experience, as is everything new. Nevertheless, this change has been a blessing and refreshment for both my parents & sister; that makes me so happy. They see each other almost daily and share sweets, my Dad is finishing radiation and continues with  chemo therapy. My Mom, an Alzheimer's patient, seems stronger and happier these days. For that I am grateful and pray the Lord brings all the good memories back and she can live smiling the rest of her days on earth. She is  very loved. He will continue to fulfill His purposes in her life.

I took time to see all the beauty in this month. Seeing my Mom smile, participating of my Blessed Stampers Team meeting and also OnStage@Home was refreshing. I even met my God in in the Story Scrapbook Club reminiscing of how God calls us to be BRAVE while creating several layouts finding the beauty and declaring His strength at all times. 

If you are going through difficult transitions continue to trust He is STILL GOOD! Continue to believe you will see His goodness and His beauty on the land of the living. Continue to believe what He said is TRUTH, and His truth will set you free. I stand firm on His promises. Thanks friends who have been there to hold both my arms high. The arms of faith and compassion. How lovely you are!
