Having fun with new stamping friends!

Hello my friends,

The Lord is solo good to me I'm starting to make new friends in my new city. And for that I am very grateful. If you know me a bit I LOVE TO STAMP WITH FRIENDS!! Also, I spend my days practically 24/7 by myself with the kids since I homeschool and my DH works a TON of hours a week (except for the fun weeks when he stays home to practically recover :)
For that reason and many more I truly appreciate meeting with friends and talk stamping! Yippee!

We truly had a good time together on Saturday. I got to meet a new stamper friend, stamp for the first time with another (who actually stamps really good! Yippee! and had 3 of my 4 friends from my last class back. It was a joy to my heart to stamp with these awesome ladies. Thanks for being here you all!

My sweet niece came all the way to PA to compete in the MLK Volleyball Tournament. I had the privilege of seeing her play on Sunday. What a blessing!!

Stampin'Up! Envelope Punch Board

Have you been looking for some birthday ideas? Me too! I had November and December full of birthdays and thou I sent those late (yikes!) I DID send them. :)

For this top cardI used the Modern Mosaic stamp set and coordinating Embossing Folder.

The sentiment comes from the stamp set Feel Goods. 

Bermuda Bay and Tangerine Tango, love it!

This card was inspired by the Envelope Punch Board. I followed the directions on top of the Tool to make an envelope for a 4" x 4" card size. I folded and then glued my 4 x 4 card in the middle. Made a belly band with the same DSP on the reversed side and there you got it. My friend loves green so I'm always looking for ways to pair green.Rich Razzleberry was my pick this time. Stamp set is Really Good Greetings.

The Birthday Cake is a single stamp sold on page 16 of the Main Stampin'Up! catalog. Is only 8.95 and I love it for my birthday cards? Check it out here!

My Paper Pumpkin: Love Treats

Thinking of what to make for your co-workers or friends. Try creating with My Paper Pumpkin!
I chose to give some Valentine treats and adorn the tags with MPP stamps. Here is a photo I took of all the ones I've been making and looking for something interesting but yummy to give, (for the guts!) I got some Twinkies. Yay!
I added my tags with a tiny glue dot to the back of the ribbon.
Surely teenagers would love this…plus a few light hearted grown-ups! You just need a good sense of humor and fun friends to share with. Gotta love the "love your guts" sentiment! At first I thought it was plain weird but is funny how I've been finding uses for it. Hehe! Love these Valentine Treats! I love your guts…so here are some Twinkies! :)

Today at My Pumpkin Challenge the team is bringing 

their talent showing projects celebrating "You and Me". Here is definitely something for you…

I used the Gold Metallic Encore Ink Pad. Gee! I love the gold.

Is so trendy right now I even added our new Gold Washi tape,

I stamp "Seriously" with StazOn Black Ink…love how it stamps on the washi tape just fine.

My colors: Primrose Petals, Bermuda Bay.

My little heart was punched from the long strip stickers in the Real Life My Paper Pumpkin Kit.

OLW: My One Little Word of 2014

Hello everyone and blessings in a wonderful week!

I am super excited as Sunday after such a busy busy week I was finally able to rest.

I listened to one of my favorite pastors Andrew Womack while I organized my daughters' closet and got to think about my word for the year and scrap a little.

Soon in January 26th ( I think!) starts Saleabration 2014 and one of the perks is receiving free products for each $50 you purchase from Stampin'Up. Well, as a demonstrator for Stampin'UP! I get to enjoy those perks early. So here I used some of the SAB downloads you will be able to get soon.

I am in love with these burlap type of embellishments, so I played with them a bit.

It was a refreshing time thinking about my word for the year: Increase!

I will share some more of my pages as they come along. This OLW: One Little Word class was created and is going on right now here by one of my favorite scrapbookers of all times Ali Edwards. I decided to join for the first time this year to stay alert and focus while this word unravels in my life. Can't wait to see all I will discover and all the Lord will do in my life. The wonderful art on the top was made by one of the amazing ladies doing this class with me. There is a Facebook group were we all share our thoughts and ideas. I'm truly enjoying this and doing it slowly. Thanks Tanja Butler Malone for your time and beautiful artwork! You can find Tanja at Contemporary Expressions Photography! Gee! Love her website and her photos, and on top of that she makes graphics like these. :)

{I printed my page at home in 8 1/2" x 11" photo paper, love it!)

My favorite Bible verse is:

To me is amazing that thou I am undeserving in my own merit, He delights in making me great, and in giving me much increase. I am in a journey to learn what HE means with increase…His ways are higher than my ways, His thoughts higher than my thoughts. Stay tune…

You & Me with My Paper Pumpkin

Hello my dear friends,

Here sharing my first handmade project of this year 2014. As usual inspired by the awesome colors and products found in My Paper Pumpkin kits.

Hop to My Pumpkin Challenge today and see what the other wonderful designers created for you to be inspired. I am inspired to scrap…not sure really how much I'l be able to (let's be realistic). Ha! But I always try and try to make pages. I enjoy scrapbooking 12 x 12 pages. Not sure why but I like it so here is my page dedicated to my sister Candy.










I used several Stampin'Up! products. All stamps are form My Paper Pumpkin kits; also the two wooden girls, stickers, "celebrate" die cut, arrow clip (which can also be found separately on SU catalog) and the Designer Series Paper.

Lately Im enjoying the clay flowers a lot and the paper doilies, so you will see them in some of my projects. Hope you get inspired to think and create for a "You & Me" in your life. Today that "You" is my sister whom I miss tremendously but had the opportunity to share with during Christmas. :) Can't wait to share again. What are you working on these first days of the year? Any goals?

Hello there 2014

Hi there!
How are you all doing my dear friends? I've been missing in action definitely but with good reason. I had the blessing of visiting my beloved island this Christmas season and spend quality time with my mom, dad, sister, niece and nephew; also with one of my best friends, Annette!.

I had a beautiful time. Have not been able to travel since 2009. Too long for me. Especially 4 years without giving my sister a hug…not good! Finally we had some quality time and you will see some special scrap pages coming soon.

Let me share with you a special project I created for this month's Coffee and Cards. I am so excited to craft again (since I took a break from it, to travel with my whole family). Many new ideas…resolutions, starting my OLW with Ali Edwards class this year…yikes! So excited but so little time. I'l share more little by little.

Are you ready to craft this year? Crafting energizes me! It is a blessing the Lord gave me and I am forever grateful for the ability to use my hands to make pretty things. Come over (if you are close by) and have some coffee and craft with me next Saturday January 18!
