Getting creative with 'Sew You' Paper Pumpkin

Good day everyone,
Today is my day to share with you a bit of inspiration with My Paper Pumpkin kits.
This kit has been a very cute one…and it was easy to come up with different ideas too.
I am enjoying these cute stamps and the collection of hem that I am creating. Wao!
Here one of the projects we made at my Paper Pumpkin with a Twist class a few weeks ago. My sweet friends loved this one. I used the Envelope Punch tool and Coastal Cabana Cardstock.
That cute bow comes from the Bow Punch in Hello Honey CS. The yarn…yes! You guessed it! From one of the past kits.

I am sure many of my quilting friends will love this card!

What have you made with this Sew You kit? Share with us at My Pumpkin Challenge!
We would love to see what you are creating.
Check what my friends made today and be inspired!

Giving Gifts Pretty with My Paper Pumpkin!

Hello my dear stampers!

Bringing you a cute idea to make with your Paper Pumpkin stamps.
In each of my classes I enjoy giving my guest a little gift to make their stay more pleasant.
Most times that comes with chocolates, last class I surprised them with caramel. Yum!

Paper Pumpkin always inspires me to give…what do you think of these?
I made these using the Envelope Punch tool.
STEP 1: Cut a 6 x 6 piece of paper.
STEP 2: Punch and Score with the EPT @ 2", then at 3"…rotate 45 degrees and punch and score at each scored line, rotate again and do the same, rotate again and do the same. Each side now will have 2 punches each and 2 scored lines.
STEP 3: Fold on each score line forming a box and fold each little corner in.
STEP 4: Adhere with Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
STEP 5: Embellish with ribbon and stamped banner.

Envelope Punch Tool Samples and More!

This is definitely one of my favorite projects I've made with the Envelope Punch Tool. We will be making this Extraordinary Gift Card Holder and more next Sunday October 26th at 7PM

I used the Bright & Beautiful Stamp set and Matching Star Framelits.

Totally in love with the new sequins….so shiny! Plus Washi tape….so easy!

I showed these cards last Saturday on my Facebook Group
My sweet Facebook friends loved them.

I used the new DSP Pack and the cute Tree Punch.
Gold Glitter Paper and Itty Bitty Accents (heart) worked great for this card.

I was using the sketch of this card to make this simple card.

Wonderful Wreath Stamp set and coordinating Framelits. Loving my Holiday Catalog indeed.

Sweets Tips, Technique and More!

Hello my dear friends,

I have a few awesome announcements today.
First let me show you what I made with my new Paper Pumpkin kit. As you well know I like to make new things with each of the kits we receive. I will be showing this technique to my sweet Paper Pumpkin Friends this Friday.

Check it out!

I mixed some of the precious kits stamps to make my sentiment. "You are" from the Wish Big kit sentiment "You are simply awesome" and "sweet" from the latest one. :) The chevron is from a previous kit I can't remember the name now…argh! I also used some decorative leaves to my project (bag of them sells for like 97 cents in Walmart…shhh!)

I enclosed a cello bag with MnMs inside. Surely sharing sweetness.

Check out these two tips I use often….love the combination of Crush Curry with Old Olive Reinkers.

Check below my NEXT CLASS coming up Sunday October 26th.
Sign up quick (is only one day!), spaces are limited and class will be awesome…hot cocoa included!
Let the festivities begin! Lots of treats to give away in a totally new way! Come check it out and have a fun time of relaxation and learning.

Envelope Punch Tool: Inspired by Creative Donna

This beautiful card was my inspiration when I started making these type of File Folder cards. I actually got this on the mail for my birthday from my sweet CD (Creative Donna). Hence the different watermark, I made it just for her. I am so thankful for friends who love me and also enjoy stamping too!

Thanks Donna!

You can definitely find more of Donna's exquisite collection on  StampinConnection if you are already part of my Stand Out Stampers or on Splitcoastampers here!

These are my first File Folder Cards made with the wonderful

The back flower is from the Floral Frames framelits. Now on discount or even FREE as a bundle when you get a new Big Shot. Check it!

Gotta love the Gold Baker's Twine. :) That butterfly is stamped on Cherry Cobbler.

Here you can see the inside.

I made a fun tutorial and sent to all My Paper Pumpkin subscribers and current customers.
If you by any chance did not get it send me a quick message. I LOVE making this for you.
Try it, is such a fun card!

Thanks dear Donna for being always an inspiration. I'm sure I surprised you today with my post.

Pumpkin Challenge: Fun Fold Stars

This is by far one of my most favorite cards made with a Paper Pumpkin kit and a bit of paper. I made a fun fold using the Envelope Punch Tool and showed it to my ladies last Friday.
I will be emailing the tutorial to all my subscribers at the end of this week. Thank YOU :)

MATERIALS:
June 2014 Paper Pumpkin Kit

What are you making with your Paper Pumpkin kits?
Check out My Pumpkin Challenge today…so many cool ideas!

Metallic star?
I placed the star on top of the Encore Pad and press till it was completely covered.
Let it dry for a while…I left it overnight.
This ink works better in porous surfaces…my star is not. So it took a while to dry.
But love the results! What DO YOU think?

Creative Blessings!

Bubble Inspired for My Pumpkin Challenge

I will be very honest. It's been a while since I make a card that I totally LOVE…hehe!
Im not sure what is about this card, maybe that I created my own stencil to cut my card with and I'm loving bubbles more and more. My paper Pumpkin kits had bubbles stickers in the last two kits.
Bubbles and arrows are my favorite right now. :)

I got inspired with the bubbles and then the rest is history…is so easy to create with MPP. :)
I was out of DSP from the kits so I used a black from Stampin'Up! Neutrals DSP packs.
I used stickers and stamps from the last two kits: Real Life (December) and Love (the one from January)I added only a 1 3/8"circle punch, the 3/4" punch and the 1" punch
plus Basic Black Cardstock.

Here are the measurements. I used a piece of the cardboard that comes with the kits.
Measure 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Then 3/4" from the bottom and drew. Last cut! Tada!

I traced my folded card base (Bermuda Bay).

Traced the DSP too!

Placed DSP on top of card base, glued and cut bottom together.

Then added as many bubbles I still had left from those two kits. :) Plus the cool stamps!

Yes, I am that excited…you know me. :)
Go check the beautiful creativity at My Pumpkin Challenge and participate, is easy!
Are you inspired to go make your own bubbles?

Be creative today!

Stampin'Up! Envelope Punch Board

Have you been looking for some birthday ideas? Me too! I had November and December full of birthdays and thou I sent those late (yikes!) I DID send them. :)

For this top cardI used the Modern Mosaic stamp set and coordinating Embossing Folder.
The sentiment comes from the stamp set Feel Goods.
Bermuda Bay and Tangerine Tango, love it!

This card was inspired by the Envelope Punch Board. I followed the directions on top of the Tool to make an envelope for a 4" x 4" card size. I folded and then glued my 4 x 4 card in the middle. Made a belly band with the same DSP on the reversed side and there you got it. My friend loves green so I'm always looking for ways to pair green.Rich Razzleberry was my pick this time. Stamp set is Really Good Greetings.

The Birthday Cake is a single stamp sold on page 16 of the Main Stampin'Up! catalog. Is only 8.95 and I love it for my birthday cards? Check it out here!

Are you making your bday cards for the year, do you make them all early, or one at a time, or what! Gee..I really need to find a way to have my cards ready to go BEFORE the birthday date is here. Any suggestions? :) What about Valentines?
