Tuesday Lift Up!: Where is your Treasure?

This morning I read this:

"Do not store up for yourselves treasure on earth, where moth and rust destroys, and where thieves break in and steal.
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 6:19-21

As I look for ways to "teach" or better said practice compassion with my children I ponder on these words written in the Bible, the Word of God.

How much do you accumulate?

I surely have accumulated a ton of stuff in the last 10+ years. Mainly books, papers (Oh dear!), crafting tools, Shoes I dont use, toys-well that was my kids- and smile... STUFF!

There is a desire in me, to get rid of things. Does that happen t you too at times?
To give.
Donate.
Throw away.
Yes, that too! For the sake of focusing on the things that truly matter. To make a difference. That's my goal…make a difference in my world. In my family, my friends, my city. It starts here at home. In our hearts.

I started reading this book on my Kindle App…is a good start. I am learning. I create more when things are in order. I wan t God's order in my life. I want to be all He wants me to be.

Do you?

Very interesting…still not done with it.
Will give you a better review later on.

Those who give…certainly make a difference.
Could you share below some ways you are practicing giving...instead of getting?

*Tomorrow I will have a giveaway.Just a little start in one of the many ways I can simply bless others with my "letting go" of things. Come back!

Defeated…is just a feeling.

Emotions can be so harsh on us at times. Not sure what you are struggling with. But at times I struggle with defeat. I am not defeated thou.

"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard-pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." 2 Corinthians 4:7-9

Let me simply remind you, if there is a vision, if there is a promise. Please Do NOT stop trying!
Harness your emotions like my friend Pastor Andrew Wommack teaches and ENJOY the ride. God has good things in store for you.

Do your best today, and forget the rest. Leave the rest to God. He cares for you.

"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen, since what we see is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Tuesday LIFT UP!: One Child Matters

Amauri.

A couple of months ago I went to a women's conference as one of the speakers. It was such a beautiful privilege and blessing to be able to speak into other women's lives.

Intrestingly, I was more blessed by giving than receiving. Amauri, is a sweet child I had the joy of sponsoring during this event. I decided to make every dollar I get from my Stampin'Up! business matter.

This because one child matters.
Check more information about this beautiful opportunity here.

I am excited to share from what I receive through my career with Stampin'Up! It motivates me to keep going forward as this little child will be so blessed by it.

Every month since May I started contributing $39 for his care and education. I am very excited to see all that God will do through such a humble offering. :)

ONE CHILD MATTERS

Father God,

I bless Amauri today with good health, a bright mind and understanding of how beautiful and powerful is the God he serves, May he always remember how loved he is by you. provide for ash of his needs and give him joy. Your kingdom come, your will be done in Amauri as it is in heaven. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Here is a bit about Amauri. I edit some parts surely to protect his identity. But he is the sweetest little boy. Keep him in your prayers.

We rise by lifting others up. Lift someone up today. Lift them in prayer, or financially, or with kindness. Maybe you is all they need this day to move forward.

Creative Blessings,

Tuesday Lift Up!

Check my Pinterest Board Tuesday Lift Up!
What's so fabulous about Tuesdays?

Well, it is the day when we get new Weekly Deals on my Stampin'Up store! We also usually start most good deals on Tuesdays (don't miss the great new below!). So I will call my Tuesdays a good day to lift others up!

Let's start this day with a famous quote:
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works... encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near," Hebrews 10:24-25

What a wonderful Bible verse. Consider... how…encouraging…let's do that today. What are some ways we can stir others up to love and do good works. Oooh, have you heard of RAK…random acts of kindness.

Why not try that today?

Make a little something or grab an extra cup of coffee for a stranger when u get one this morning, or offer gum to your coworker when you get one out of your purse. Simple…keep it simple. What about making a card that lifts someone else up today. I will share more great quotes for you to have not only a fab Tuesday but a fabulous week.

Giving makes a difference
Focus on giving today a bit more of you. What about pointing out how awesome you think someone is? Do it! I JUST thought of someone I will mail a card to today. My friend Jana (from Trot Fitness!). Every time I go to do my Boot camp training -Oh have mercy! is Hard but Im there about 3 times a week, well I try!- she is ALWAYS there. She is not only inspiring (she lost a bunch of weight, does the challenges and works out like a maniac). She is also an amazing mom of 4 little ones AND she loves helping others. Every time I talk with her she tells me what she was doing the day before. She loves to help. Helping someone move, helping someone with a task, helping someone pack..ugh! I think she is truly amazing. I will let her know today that she is awesome!

Here is my RAK…mailing a card to a friend I have NEVER send a card before to tell her she is awesome.

Colors: Delightfully Dijon, Whisper White,

Gotta love the cute envelope made with Garden in Bloom- coordinates with the DSP.

Other ways to Lift Others Up
What about these other options?

* take the phone, call someone you haven't talk in forever and simply tell them you were thinking of them. Then tell them you think they are unique.

* Send your pastor or cell group leader, or homeschool group coordinator a text message telling them WHY you think they matter.
* Grab a chocolate bar at the store, stick a post-it note on top and write "You deserve it!" or "You are sweet".

Make it loud!
I am sure there is many other ways to lift others up….could you share them below. If you try one of these or other ideas today, could you come back and share them? I would love to hear you yell!

Don't miss the new Clearance Items

They will only be available till they last. The same with the weekly deals. It starts today TUESDAY. Check the weekly deals and MAKE SURE you hop to my store to see the Clearance Rack. Yay! Have fun making a difference. It is Tuesday Lift Up! I assure you, you will feel stronger and refreshed when you lift another up.
