This version was embellished with ribbon,. the one below I embellished with the Charming Shimmered Faceted Dots.

Today is Pretty Papers & Prayers. I want to share a prayer with you I pray blesses you and delivers you from discouragement in Jesus' name. You + Jesus = Overcome

Lord Jesus I seek You because YOU and YOU alone are my motivation to live, to move and to continue running.

Your Word says, “therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses let us run with PERSEVERANCE the race marked out for us. *Hebrews 12:1 I will run forward.

I embrace the same mindset of Christ Jesus today whom being God himself, called himself a servant and humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—-even death on a cross *Phil. 2:5-7; so I could live in Him. I am your daughter but I am also your servant. I will obey and trust your ways. I choose not to grow in discouragement but pursue COURAGE! You call me to be strong and brave. So I will. *Joshua 1:9

I will trust your sense of justice to bring deliverance and also your sense of compassion to bring healing. I will be moved by your Spirit *Rom. 8:14, not by flesh. I die to my discouraged flesh daily and stand in your WORD as truth. I overcome by YOUR blood and the WORD of your testimony. *Rev. 12:11

It is by faith that I have been set free through the blood of the Lamb. It is through faith that I have been made free not to be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Christ sets me free from discouragement. I believe it and receive my freedom today. *Ephesians 1:7; Gal. 5:1

I cut off the spirit of discouragement from my life and resist and take captive any depressing thoughts, any thoughts of failure and low self esteem to the obedience of Jesus. *2 Cor. 10:5 He obeyed perfectly, I therefore carry the blessing of His obedience and I am now able to walk in obedience because of Jesus’ victory.

My circumstances do not determine my destiny.

What my eyes see or my heart feels do not determine my significance.

The voices around me do not define who I am.

Only my Father God does.
