His Promises

Find the Pearls

As I was in the Word this morning He started giving me a plan for future events. I listened intently and realized there are some pearls I need to determine to seek and not stop till I find them. These pearls, as I called them, are His very great and precious promises. 

2 Peter 1:4 "Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires."

Matthew 13: 45-46 "Again, the kingdom of God is like a merchant in search of fine pearls; on finding one of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it."

Find the pearls of great value (His promises in the Word) and embrace them with all you have. Don't let them go. Hold on to His promises. Then go enjoy walking with the confidence that He loves you and share that love with others. His favor is upon you. Check the song here or below. I pray tonight it blesses you greatly.

Some Stamping

As every Monday I love going LIVE on facebook with my beautiful friends in Stamp a Blessing. This time around I was inspired by the Ombre effect in the Celebrating In Colors Paper Pumpkin kit, May's 2022 kit. Since last week I made my cards to give away with the cute box...this time I focused on the stamps and a simple technique with the Blending Brushes. Give them a try.

Some die cutting

If you noticed I used the little gift card pockets sent with our Paper Pumpkin kits to cut the butterflies with my Brilliant Wings Die to keep going with the Ombre effect. I do not intend to use them for gift cards so I found a great way to use these cute pieces of cardstock. I then used my Blending brushes to create the same Ombre effect with the In Color Ink Pad of choice.

Try the sketch

I am a firm believer that you should try using what you have to bless others. Go ahead, find what you have and give this sketch a try. Hope the measurements help. They are easy!
