Paper Pumpkin and One More Idea for National Donut Day

Our last Paper Pumpkin kit brought many ideas and inspiration with donuts.

You can see my previous posts with the donuts here and here. Hope you like those!

Today's was inspired by the already retired Crystal Effects and the newest adhesive Fine-Tip Glue Pen. They both leave sort of a different effect, I liked them both.

The Flirty Flamingo donut was "glazed" with Crystal Effects,
while the chocolate one was with Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

Last week I was playing a bit with these mini donuts and the idea of filling them wth "glaze" motivated me. My friend Bea was here when she suddenly said, why not add SALT?

OH, DEAR! What a cool idea that was. Check the results below.

Hope you like it and leave me some love with your comments below. :)

Decided to made a donut for the inside too....cause WHY NOT?

Here are the materials to make the little donuts. On the picture above,
glaze is still drying. The one that looks whitish is the Fine-Tip glue pen one.

Mini-Donuts SIMPLE instructions:
Step 1:
Punch two donut holes first with the bitty circle punch,
one each on the Very Vanilla Cardstock and the Flirty Flamingo.
A hole puncher should be good too for these little holes.
Step 2:
Now punch the 1" circle of each of these with that circle in the middle (the donut hole)
Step 3:
With scissors cut around the "glaze" CS (Early expresso or Flirty flamingo) to give it a wave.
Step 4:
Stamp with sprinkles shown
Step 5:
Adhere to donut Very Vanilla base with cut pieces of Stampin'Dimensionals.
Step 6:
Cover "glaze" with your choice of adhesive
Step 7:
Sprinkle donuts with salt.

The punches are the 1" circle punch and the already retired Itty Bitty Shapes circle.

Can you see the salt? It so looks like sprinkles. My girlies love this card.

Sharing HIS heart: You ARE beautiful

Yes, you are!

I love reminding women how beautiful they are.

I enjoy seeing others the way God sees them.
the Bible says,

"For you created my inmost being;

you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

    your works are wonderful,
I know that full well." Psalm 139:13-14

I believe the Psalmist KNEW the heart of God on this. He was happy God created him wonderfully. He walked confidently on this truth. He created you and I UNIQUE, beautiful....lovely! All for the display of His splendor and mercies. I love God's ideas!

Sharing with others the intimate heart of God is what I'm pursuing these days. Are you pursuing His heart with all your heart?

These cards will remind someone of this truth. So hope that someone today is YOU!

Gifts made with So Detailed Thinlits Dies

There is a few things in the Occasions catalog that I will truly miss seeing. One of them is this So detailed thinlits.
I cut 3 of the same ones and added them together for sturdiness.

I decided to make bookmarks with them.
And they all turned out so good!
I also use my Watercolor Wishes stamp set and the Stitched Shapes for the sentiments.

Remember that Glitter Paper from Sale-a-bration?
Yes, I made a bookmark but this time I wanted to see it all the time so I adhere it to my BigShot.

Isn't is neat to use your thinlits
in different ways!

SAVE MONEY!
The So detailed thinlits are on DISCOUNT right now. From $33 they are selling here for $23.10. Yay!
