Do you ever scrapbook when sad?

Hello my dear friends,

We all have hard days. When our hearts simply hurt and our spirits simply humble at the realization that we are NOT in control.

We can all rest assured God's plan are good. He will bring something beautiful out of the ashes and our blessing in coming.

A few weeks back I had one of those days. Do you ever feel like quitting? Yeah, I do.
On that day I kept moving forward but without much desire. I got a little surprise on the mail. My parents from Puerto Rico sent me a gift.

Pasteles. Yes, Pasteles Puertorriqueños.

There is something about food that makes us happy. But not only that, the thought. Being so many years far away from them and my traditions made me appreciate this gift the most.

A little reminder that JESUS LOVES ME AND CARES FOR MY HAPPINESSS.

I took Pictures.
I picked the pictures I wanted to use.
I follow a mood board from Bash your Stash Facebook group.
I went hybrid (half real product, half computer). Using a simple MDS (retired software My Digital Studio) template.
My black embellishments are from the Paisley Thinlits.
Here are the results.

This is the Mood Board I used. Beautiful greens.
My pastels came wrapped in plantain tree leaves.

Look at this Pinterest Board! Is FULL of them,
such an eye-candy!

My soul was quieted after I finished this page meditating on His blessings toward me. I am blessed.
When sad trust, pray, and meditate of all His past and present blessings.

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise.
