Make it Simple Monday: Paisleys & Posies Sketch

Good morning my dear stampers,

Life is always hectic, too many things striving for our attention. Too many things on our agenda.
I should remember to schedule rest tines during my day.

I am way more productive when I slow down and take time to do NOTHING. Is counter-culture I know but we were called not only to DO, but also to BE.

Be encouraged today! There is fruit in your doing, as also in your resting.

Here is a cool tip when creativity is not necessarily there or you have no idea where to start.
Start with a sketch, there are multiple online. Just type "Simple Card sketches" on your search engine and voila, a ton will appear for your inspiration.

The one below was shared with me at my Blessed Stampers private  Facebook group. My friend and fellow demonstrator Sabrina Concepcion shared it with me together with there awesome ideas! Enjoy the inspiration and hope you give t a try!

I used Sabrina sketch to make a friend a card.
Using the new Paisleys and Poesies Bundle here.

To see this suite Paisleys and Posies see my website here!
This paper and gold foil made this card! My sentiment came from

TIP TIP TIP:
To remember HOW to place your framelits back into place, take a picture with your phone before you start using them. You will be grateful you did on framelits like this one that has so many cute details.

This was the sketch Sabrina found and shared with us at the fcbk group.
So pretty right! Check below her take on it.

Sabrina used the fabulous Sunshine Sayings Bundle.

Have a beautiful day and be OPEN to the possibilities.
You were meant to carry HIS greatness, do not carry anything short of that.

Together is Better: My Swap

Remember the swaps I shared last week from my amazing downline (my team of demonstrators). Well, I also made one and here it is!

Fall is in FULL force and I am loving it.

Two weeks ago we took a beautiful road trip to Kentucky! Wao! Such beauty...we visited the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. Both so breattaking, faith-filled places.

Enjoy the beauty.
He delights in beauty, so I delight too!
He actually makes beautiful things, and people. You are one of them!

This is my swap made with the Totally Trees Stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.
Definitely one of my very favorite stamp sets. To cute!
The die cut shape came from one of the sides of the Curvy Box Thinlits.
So any ways to use our stash right!

This one is a bit simpler...no designer series paper or ribbon but equally pretty!

TIP TIP TIP:
I LOVE using my paper piercer to pick glue dots, enamel shapes, rhinestones and position them exactly where I want them to go.

Enjoy this song today, He is making beautiful things in your life EVEN if you can't see them!

Materials:
Mint Maccaroon Cardstock and Ink
Rich Razzleberry and Very Vanilla Cardstock
Delighfully Dijon Ink Pad

Have a wonderful day!

Paper Pumpkin Peeps: Season of Gratitude Tips

Last Sunday as a wonderful day of rest, uff! How I love Sundays. :)

I got to meet with several friends to create using our Paper Pumpkin kits and I am so glad we did!

Here a few pictures of our meeting and tips on our new kit too.

As you can see this kit is absolutely beautiful. I got to make some of the cards, but I chat too much so I have NOT finished them, hehe!

Season of Gratitude TIPS
As I was making this kit I discover several things that made putting it together easier.

FIRST, as usual I try to stamp all before I assemble. I made ONE card first to get the hang of it and then I proceeded to do all my stamping. I used garden Green Ink Pad as my ink (cause I love it lately and found is more vibrant than Chocolate Chip). :)

SECOND, I did not wrap my twine around the banner, as instructions say. I simply made cute bows and adhered them with a glue dot. I cut 6" per bow. Cute!
THIRD, as usual I used my paper piercer to pick the glue dots and place where I wanted them to go. It makes it WAY easier than using my nails.

FOURTH, When adhering the dimensional adhesives I started with one short side, then one long one holding the window sheet in place, then place another short, and last another long. Last but not least, the middle long one. In this way I avoided gaps, which will make my sequins fall over the place later one.
So recap, SHORT, LONG, SHORT, LONG, LONG. :)

FIFTH,  I modified several of my banners by cutting the side. You see below? I just liked it.

Don't forget to send me your pictures with your kits finished! You will enter to win a box full of goodies!

Hope this encourages you to get your paper pumpkin kit out and start crafting some blessings!

I LOVE meeting with my ladies and crafting them together. I believe Together is better!

Connecting through media and phone is nice, but there is a special touch when we ACTUALLY get together and stamp. Thanks to my sweet ladies that took the time to stamp with me this last weekend. I totally enjoy this time!

Creative Blessings,

Make it Simple Monday: Use your Retired Stamps

Ha! On a Tuesday, right! Sorry guys this was supposed to be posted yesterday. :)
October is Pastor's Appreciation Day

I was asked to create a card for my loving pastors.

Everyone who knows my Pastor Dan Langan -from Harvest House Christian Fellowship- knows his usual response when asked How are you? How is your day going? He will undoubtedly say, "Best Day Ever".

So I TOTALLY had to pull one of my retired Sale-a-bration stamps: Best Day Ever.
I mixed this wonderful stamp set with the new Paisleys & Posies Photopolymer Bundle and get to work making a kind of manly card.

What do you think?
I took a 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock, scored in half and folded.
This card is way bigger than any others.

I felt awesome making it and honoring our church leaders too!
They deserve it. Pastors work so hard and rarely people notice them.

My picture taking is not marvelous but I am happy
to share this idea with you!

Do NOT be afraid of using old stamps or retired stamps.
ENJOY what you have and be OPEN to the possibilities.
That's my tip for you today Make it Simple Monday!

I made a simple envelope with my simply scored board.
It worked nice!

I had the Night of Navy Cardstock out, o rich and wonderful.
I decided to make a couple of more cards with my Paisleys and Posies!
Definitely a favorite in my stamp closet!

Have a fabulous week!

Paper Pumpkin Peeps: How to organize your Paper Pumpkin Kits in a small place

Hello friends,

GET TOGETHER
Every month I am holding an event at a local establishment to get together and get our beautiful Paper Pumpkin kits done.

I enjoy the fellowship and also getting my kit ready to bless others.

This Sunday October 23rd is the day! Hope you can join me between 3-7Pm.
Come over with kit, without kit, with a project or without any project.
Just let me know YOU ARE COMING and I will have something for you to Create blessings!

ORGANIZATION
Ok, so let's talk a bit about organization!
As you know already I moved a couple of month ago. And since my new home has no stamp room.........sniff sniff....I had to be creative in HOW I organize.

Step 1: I claimed the pantry closet (LOL!). Yes I did, don't believe me? Check the pictures below.

Yes, I STILL love to cook.
I just learned how to use less space in the kitchen and have less to clean as an aftermath. I have one corner cabinet that holds all of my cans and flours, treats and whatever else. The rest is simply FRESH so goes in the fridge NOT the pantry. Yippee! SIMPLIFY SIMPLIFY! (declutter too!)

Step 2: Make the most of your space.
Bottom layer- Use plastic bins for your favorites or grab and stamp section. (I will expand on this in the following week :)

Can you identify my Paper Pumpkin bin? :)

Step 3: Organize your plastic bin too! Yippee!

This is the bottom of my plastic bin.
From top to bottom I use past kits boxes to organize
Ink Spots
Bags and Boxes
Stickers only
Card bases and envelopes
Die cuts and Tags
Cards ready to mail

On the right is another shoe box with any embellishment left over from previous kits.
Sequins, twine, buttons, anything! You see! Love this creative box!

On the right on top of my free lid shoe box, I placed a Burgundy one with all my stamps.
Will take a picture of them, sorry forgot. AND a "ham plastic box" Yes it was were my ham came, hehe! To keep all my adhesives that usually I have a ton leftover LOVE IT!

Last but not least is this cute ORANGE (my favorite color) binder.
I cannot wait to show you WHAT I have in here. Is perfect!

I love orange. I love pumpkins and I definitely love Fall. Paper Pumpkin is just perfect for this season too! Hehe! Below last month's kit. Can't wait to show you the next.  Here with my sweet friend Lisa at the Pumpkin Patch.

TIP TIP:
Always start by stamping. Is fun and will make your card making easy peasy!

And this is how I roll right now with my Paper Pumpkin.
My goal this year is NOT to create a bunch of alternates. There is actually thousands of crafters doing the and posting them on either Pinterest (search Paper Pumpkin and you will see) or on Facebook like on the Facebook Paper Pumpkin fan page.
My goal is to GET IT DONE and share it! Noooo...I know they are pretty....but do NOT keep them.
Make a difference with Paper Pumpkin.
Lift others with Paper Pumpkin.
Is easy, affordable and also fun! :)

Join my Paper Pumpkin Peeps here!
You will lOVE it! INSPIRE others. This is my word of this week and I am loving finding ways to inspire others.

Creative Blessings!
