The Art of Swapping: Part 2 Cool Sketches

One of the many ways to be inspired and share inspiration is through swaps.

I belong to a group in Facebook that rejoice in doing swaps every time a new catalog comes along.

I was "adopted" into it thou I am not original from this group of demos in Colorado during the Leadership Conference back in 2014.  Is called the Sassy Stampers. Hihi!

Here a few more swaps that I TRULY like for their sketches!

Stamp set: Birthday Fiesta
Designer: Diana Tillery

Look at the cool markers technique inside! Every word has its color!

O dear, I so love this sketch.
As you can see this is a regular size card 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" but the front panel they cut about an 1 1/4" from the outside, leaving a space we can see from the inside.

Stamp set: Vertical Greetings
Both did the same fold but one place designer series paper inside, while designer Kathy Howes (above) placed cardstock and stamped on it "thank you".

Her cut was only 1/2", so you can see variations on this cool fold.
When you do swaps you learn new things!

The inside was stamped using Thankful Thoughts

What do you think?
I think they spark my imagination and give me new ways to create cards.
Loving it! I CAN'T wait to sit and stamp my friends.

Soon will be revealing the swaps I made here! Yay!

INSTRUCTIONS
Still not sure how to make this card style?

1. Cut your card stock base as a sheet of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
2. Score your card mid way at 4 1/4"
3. Then cut an 1 1/4" or 1/2" (your preference) from the front tab in.
4. Embellish as desired. :)

LOVE SHARING IDEAS WITH YOU! Tx for visiting my website!
Still organizing, but O so enjoying life and the vision that keeps me going!
The joy of the Lord is my strength and the Lord of my joy keeps me moving forward.
