Share your story with Paper Pumpkin 4: Story update

Sweet stampers!

How are you all..this year started as busy as all the others. LOL!
Nothing new, right!

I am so happy to share a bit of me with you today.
As you may already know I started stamping after starting scrapbooking.
I fell in love with card making a while after than that and BOOM, I stopped being as consistent with scrapbooking.

Any others hands say "me too!" :/

O, well. I joined a super sweet workshop offered by Scrapbooking/Project Life designer Ali Edward a couple of weeks ago (like I have nOTHING else on my agenda), and realized how MUCH I truly love telling my stories.

The workshop's name is actually Storytelling with Project Life(She will repeat this next year)
I decided I was not going to worry much about what has not been done at this point.
I will get to it little by little.

I want to focus on the present. So I started doing weekly PL pages.
It is an interesting way…it is helping me to focus on the little things that I enjoy, the little things -GOOD THINGS- that happen thru my day. And even ponder about the not-so-good ones.

I will tell you more as I learn more. But I am super excited to keep showing you more of what I started. I used my February page from Paper Pumpkin for my first weeks of February (summary right, cause I am not worrying about what was not done).

I used our December's Paper Pumpkin kit and the Memories in the Making PL card kit.
I kept my embellishments low but focused on the pictures, the stories AND AND AND
I ACTUALLY journaled on this layout.

Ugh, so many times I forget to truly finish a layout saying something, writing something.
I love how computer-type looks  but I have no time for that, soooo…my handwriting suffice.

I am happy I called it done…now I am working on this weeks layout.
Surely the Lord will teach me more how to live in the moment and being THANKFUL. Some of my many goals. :)

Using my stash like my other favorite challenge on Facebook says, right!
I used THAT heart die-cut I made back in November when I went to On Stage in Baltimore, MD. Yeap…I was reserving it for something special. :)

Does that EVER happens to you?

For some reason mixing Paper Pumpkin with either traditional scrapbooking or Project Life (pocket style memory keeping) is my favorite thing to do.

One cute favor I made with January's kit. Loved it!
