Give It Pretty Challenge

Hello my dear friends,

So excited to share with you today one of my projects with such a lovely kit from My Paper Pumpkin: Sweet as Pie..so many ideas to choose from!
I am having my locals meet this Friday to make the pie and get inspired with other projects as well. Can't wait to meet with you!

Two years ago I made some cute ornaments I am loving and treasuring now every time I bring them out to place on my Christmas Tree…the boxes form "the pie" really look like pine trees if you turn them so why not embellish them as ornaments. These gifts are for my kids…they love seeing their ornaments with their photos every year. Sweet!

Check it out and hope you get inspired to do the same!

Did you see the last ones I made, two years is way too long! Check them here!

I had to embellish the sides and what better than a purple Christmas tree with my Festival of Trees stamp set and punch. My girly loves purple…so I brought a bit of her headband colors on this sweet tree and golden itty bitty accent flower. :) Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape keeps the box temporarily closed with some small pictures of 2014 inside for her to enjoy every year.

Surely her joy is contagious, this sentiment from Holiday Cheer Stamp set HAD to be the one.
Project Life offers so much! :) I used Perfect Plum CS and Gold Foil Sheets too!

Few tips….trace the bottom of one of your triangles from the MPP Sweet as Pie kit.
Cut a template with it to cut your picture.

Place the triangle on top as shown, trace and cut. I used my paper trimmer.

I traced with my Project Life pen…it worked great.

Have a precious, full of energy, creative, blooming day!

    1. Thank you so much Boni…..I am so gad I get to make these for my kids. I think with time they will grow to expect the new ornament with their photos. These will each have pictures inside of things that interested them this year like violin, ballet, certain games…it is sweet! Love you! Keep making blessings!
