Make it Simple Monday - Color Combo

Hello again!

Starting the week with lots of energy and determination. 
Last Monday I started a series of blogpost were I want to share with you the awesomeness of stamping.

Last week I brought you a SKETCH. 
I think is awesome to have a way to start when you go into your stamping. 

Having a sketch is wonderful…it helps you focus and makes your stamping time easier. Believe me, try it!

TODAY, I bring you a Color Combination!

So how did I find this color combination. The paper!
Yes, Stampin'Up! Designer Series Paper has such beautiful color ideas.
My friend Pam sent me some cute paper samples as part of my birthday gift! Eeek! I think she LOVES me…hehe! Tx Pam!

I used the same sketch from last Monday but I turned it sideways. Fun eh!

Also, you don't have a certain specific color. Use what you have, the closest.

My life in a Cinch

I am eating healthier. Yes, As I said last Thursday. I am getting fit. 

I started in January, then in May TrotFitness started a 6-week challenge.

O, dear! I went for it and WAO! I learned SO MUCH!

NEVER thought I was eating SO MANY carbs. Now my carb intake is way lower.

No processed foods, lots of protein. I will keep sharing on tomorrow.

I am still walking this journey.

Sabbath: Jesus be Near to Me

Oh my heart aches just desiring to be closer to Him

How I need Him.

There is NO WAY I could do life without Him.

Our world goes through so much, simply because we have turned away from Him.


Please join me in a prayer of desperation for Him, to hunger for Jesus, for a desire to be near Him.

I know Him. His love is unfailing. The ways He communicates are amazing.

Please, trust Him. 

As you are on top of the mountain trust Him. When you are in the valley, remember, still trust Him. He WILL reveal Himself to you.

When you meet a God that walks with you unchanging, relentless, loving you and teaching you, disciplining you for better and bigger things. All I can do is offer my life as a living sacrifice. 

My life I give today to Him to do whatever He wishes. I will obey His lead, I will surrender, I will follow.

God revealed Himself to me in such special way this day words cannot express. He KNOWS me, He TRULY knows me. He TRULY cares for every single detail in my life. When I asked He heard me, and thou His answer was tough, His love is so enduring, so powerful, so breaking in a gentle amazing way.

I am simply in awe of a God who truly cares for you and me. He speaks through His Word, He still speaks through other people, He speaks through nature, through situations. He speaks through dreams…Oh how I love His personal touch. 

" His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by his own glory and goodness. " 2 Peter 1:3

Thanks Lord Jesus, for being TRULY my friend. 

For giving me dreams I couldn't understand, THEN giving the revelation of those and taking care of me like a little sheep. This happened yesterday.

Has He ever speak to you in a dream?

I am in awe of Him. My dear friends, seek Him. He never fails.

I have known Him since I surrendered my life, my entire LIFE at the tender age of 17. You know I just turned 40!  He is faithful.

Again, I am in awe.

A sweet friend EvaGla shared this song particularly with me Friday night. 
Oh wao, HOW I LOVED this. He is always the same. I so want HIm to be near to me. He is my first and foremost passion.

Life without Christ is no life. 
Life without hope, no strength.
Hope without Christ, inexistent. 


Jesus be near to me. 
Jesus be near to us as a country.
Jesus be near to each person that reads this today.

BE ENCOURAGED! He sees you and holds you through it all. You just seek Him…

What's Better than a Card for your Birthday?

Last month was my birthday.

Big milestone.

I had the most beautiful day and birthday party and gifts and songs. Oh my dear!

My friend Creative Donna made me this one.


I do not have this Pop of Paradise stamp set and I was so amazed by how she made this card pop. It has Melon Mambo pink and Gold Foil…just wonderful in every sense. I am so humbled she took the time to make this work of art! :) 

It also stands. I simply loved it.

Pam Steckman made me this one with the new Sweet Cupcake Bundle.

An orange card for my birthday? It made my day! Thanks Pam!

Stamp set: Birthday Blooms

Again, all three of my card making friends used stamp sets I do NOT own…it fills my heart with joy, and now I want them all!!!! Does that happens to you?

And all my other friends share their loving wishes in many ways.
I have no words to express my thanksgiving! 

DO YOU THROW YOUR OWN B-day PARTIES? 

Did you know, It's been maybe 4 years since I throw my own parties for my birthdays.
If I wait for people to celebrate me, I may get disappointed, haha!
So, if I make my own party, invite my friends to have fun with me and serve, honor and bless them instead, I am double BLESSED. I was indeed. 

I celebrate others and I celebrate me too! God has been good.
I am grateful for each and every season.
For HIM walking with me. 
Thanks friends for rejoicing with me on my bday and making it so special.

Corner Card Picture Tutorial: Remarkably You!

I've been waiting to show you this cool fold for a week. The Corner Card Fold. 

Enough waiting.My friend Donna W. is always making the most beautiful things. I think she rocks. She inspired me through StampinConnection to make these. (Then come tomorrow to check the bday card she sent me last month,LOVE it!)

Is so fun to share new folds and ideas with you I decided to make a cool picture tutorial you can refer to whenever you want. 

I have not made any tutorials in a long time.

It also uses half of a sheet of card stock. YES! 
Same card base as usual with a few more scores done with my Simply Score. 

The fun part about this type of card is it stands

Stampin'Up! Kits Work: Perfectly Wrapped

Posting again and thinking of ways to make your creative life easier! 

The first kit that I ordered was definitely The Perfectly Wrapped one. 

I always like having little treat boxes to give away ready but making them from scratch takes a LOT OF TIME…which is not a luxury for a mama of 3, wife of a very busy man and business owner. Eek!

I totally enjoy learning not only how to make the kits (they come with instructions), but play with all the cool ideas and embellishments.

Check out this one box! It has my favorite color orange -I think is Tangerine Tango- with Emerald Envy and Black and White stripes!@#

This actually makes a pretty big flower. All die cutter for you. Yippee! Don't get me wrong, I love my Big Shot. But hey! If someone else does that part for me. Yippee!

I truly enjoyed making this treat box and is a good size box.

I am using the stamp set also to make cute cards so here is a note card I made for a sweet customer. 

I added the Layering Circles and Swirly Swirls Framelits for the little flowers. love those!

Peekaboo peach and Melon Mambo go wonderfully together!

Throwback Thursday right! 

This is me graduating from High School.

I still remember that day. I truly felt happy, successful and hihi pretty. Someone did my hair (which I never did) and did my makeup. I was growing up and starting to live.

Paper Pumpkin Kits Make it Easy!

Hello my sweet ladies (and gents!),

I am turning the corner and going for simple things lately.

My life, as many of yours has become so FULL of blessings and also responsibilities that in order to keep doing what I LOVe "STAMPING!" I need to keep it simple.

Paper Pumpkin is perfect for that! 
*During this month of July the girls and I at My Pumpkin Challenge are taking a little break from the challenge BUT not from the kits. Soooo,

Here is what I made!

I am AGAIN keeping it simple. 
This means, I NEED cards. I need simple cards.

So in this case, I had not time to fill every single baggie with sequins and go around it. I cut my card to 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" to get rid of the holes :-) and proceeded to stamp and use some leftover card stock to create my banners. I did use a couple of other things like the Banner Triple Punch and the Layering Circles Framelits. But everything else pretty is Paper Pumpkin. These kits are meant to inspire YOU! 

I REALLY like the designers that create these boxes.  Is my little break after all my work.
I will do my whole box this week, as my playtime in the in between times and mail them to my customers as thank you notes!
