On Time for Christmas: Shaker Cards (Video)

The year started and with it so many good ideas to make our next Christmas celebration more relaxed and delightful. I am starting a new

On Time for Christmas challenge.

Every month I will inspire you with a sketch and will make 10 Christmas cards. I will share some tips to make the upcoming Christmas easier on you!

Are you ready to create? I used this month's SAB Sketch #1, shown on my previous post.

I went online yesterday afternoon and showed LIVE how to make a shaker card. I wouldn't have the time to make a card like this 10 times during the Holidays, so doing it now gives me such joy!

My stamps come from my Paper Pumpkin kits.

I added some special details to my cards.

First, I decided to dry emboss my window sheet, you can see the process in the video link below. I used the Softly Falling texture embossing folder.

Another cool tip is to use different types of materials to make the shake happen.

I had at hand some mini beads made for the purpose of needlework.

Well, they found a new home in my shaker cards fro Christmas.

As I was doing my live video I ran into a problem, during my stamping.

Ha! But my Facebook friends came to the rescue with a bunch of different ideas for THAT not to happen again. LOL!

Every day I learn. You can see their great tips here.

Share a Sketch #1 and My Why!

What is one thing that always helps you to create cards?

For me that is a SKETCH! So here I am sharing a sketch that is simple but can be modified in so many ways for you to get creative.

I hope it inspires you to create with what you have and show love to others in wonderful ways.

I will be back soon with different ways to use this sketch.
For the moment I am SURE you will think of ways to start using it too! So FUN!

ON STAGE!

So excited to share I will be going to Hartford, CT this coming April for the Stampin'Up! On Stage conference. As I pursue laughter this 2018 BEING INTENTIONAL in doing things that bring laughter is essential. I love creating opportunities for others to grow together, create beauty and feel welcome. This time I am creating opportunities for me to LAUGH and find all that God has for me in this season. I am excited!!

If you would like to be part of this experience, I suggest you join Stampin'Up! during the Sale-a-bration season ending March 31st.
It is the best time to join the company of such amazing creative people and create opportunities for others to enjoy life doing what they love.

I love this stamp set.

Particularly this sentiment that comes with it.

It speaks LOUD to my life this year, and I truly pray it does to you.

FACEBOOK LIVE: My Why!

Apron of Love 3" x 6" Card

Sharing some love with my Apron of Love Bundle!

Did you know I love wearing aprons. As soon I get to the kitchen, on it goes!

My daughters are learning to wear them too! hehe!

This is another sample of a 3" x 6" card made

with the Tutti Frutti DSP Pack I used on my last post.

The sequins add a bling to this simple card, and they are easy to use.

These are in itself adhesive-backed sequins. Cool!

The inside had to have some yummy papayas!

Check my previous post to find how I made envelopes

for these cute customers size cards. I posted a video!

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
