Let me show you one more sample I made with My Paper Pumpkin June's kit. I made these for My Pumpkin Challenge. So wanting to encourage you to participate. Here I used a piece of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" of Whisper White CS.

Stamped the Chevron stamp in Crisp Cantaloupe and

the sentiment in Gumball Green. Heart in Razzleberry Ripple. Fun!

Good morning my dear friends!

Here in the midst of so many changes but grateful for the blessings I have received. One of those blessings is my sweet friends. A few weeks ago I had the best birthday party ever with my best friends. I had time to chat, stamp and eat cake with some amazing women and today I want to show you one of the precious cards I got that day.

Buenos dias mis amigas!

Aqui en medio de muchisimos cambios mas bien agradecida por todas las bendiciones recibidas. Una de esas bendiciones son mis dulces amigas. Hace unas semanas atras tuve la mejor fiesta de cumpleanos con mis mejores amigas. Tuve tiempito de conversar, estampar y comer bizcocho (pastel) con unas mujeres maravillosas y hoy les quiero compartir una de las tarjetitas que ese dia recibi.

Si pudo ver mi amiga Cindy puso un pedacito de ese papel bello de escarcha plateada detras del botoncito Vintage. Asi el brillito se ve por medio del boton. Nitido, eh?! Espero sea hoy inspirada por mi amiga maravillosa y crees algo lindo para bendecir a otros. Soy bien bendecida de verdad. Ah y espere a que le ensene el regalo que me hizo...Ay si..aun no tengo fotos pero ya prontito! ;)

Just a couple of challenges before I...

...move. Yeap! Is true Im moving. I won't be a Texan girl any more. The East is waiting for me. Ha! I tend to live with this crazy idea that creation is waiting (groaning really) impatiently waiting for the manifestation of YOU and ME! So very soon...Il get to move all my stuff, ink refills and my beautiful fmily with me to dance on the East. BUT before I do that, please let me play a bit. :)

Truly Grateful for today



Happy 4th my dear friends,
Today I simply reflect in how blessed we are (I am) to live in the USA, to be part of this nation (thou not born in the continental US), truly grateful for the opportunities I've found here. I am really blessed. So I stop to meditate, give thanks to God for His immesurable grace and for the freedom we have in Him. Enjoy life, do what is good and seek God. Without Him there is no peace and without peace there is no power.

Enjoy my July 4th card... not a traditional one for sure, but bringing reflection to our hearts today.

Feliz 4 de julio a todas mis amigas aca en los Estados,

Es un dia hermoso para reflexionar y dar gracias por todo lo que hemos recibido. Vivir en los EU es una bendicion y la libertad que gozamos un privilegio dado por Dios a esta nacion. Vivo agradecida y hoy simplemente me detengo a dar gracias y disfrutar la vida plena que he recibido. Hacer el bien, vivir a plenmitud y buscar a Dios. Sin El no hay paz y sin paz no hay poder.

 

Mi tarjetita del 4 de julio no es tradicional...mas trae reflexion al corazon.

The technique I used is the one shown at Technique Twist Challenge this week. Give it a try, is simple but the results are so much fun. On my twist today I did my Rolled Quartz technique on sandpaper (of all things), instead of the traditional Window Sheet. Another Twist was NOT using White Ink refill, I only used Island Indigo and fine glimmer. My CS is Bermuda Bay.

La tecnica que use es la que se muestra en el reto de Technique Twist esta semana. Vaya a intentarla, es simple mas los resultados son tremendos. En mi cambio de hoy (mi 'twist') hice la tecnica Rolled Quartz en papel de lijar (sandpaper), en vez de en la tradicional transparencia. Otro cambio que hice fue no usar la tinta blanca, solo la azul color Island Indigo y escarcha fina en dorado. My Cartulina es Bermuda Bay.

Hola mis queridas amigas! Les queria ensenar una paginita sencilla que hice ayer mientras pensaba en mis chiquillos. Realmente disfruto jugar con Mi Estudio Digital o MDS. Es tan facil y versatil. Me fasciiina para hacer mi scrapbooking y para los dias que no deseo hacer regueros mientras creo algo bonito. :)

Rolled Quartz with a Twist and a Pumpkin Challenge

Hello my awesome friends! Hola mis queridas amigas!
Today is a super fun day. We start July with two challenges that will for sure inspire you to make beauties in the next weeks. I am a designer for both and I am super excited to show you what I made for each. Hoy es un dia super divertido. Comenzamos el mes de julio con dos nuevos retos que de seguro le van a inspirar a crear bellezas en las proximas semanas. Yo soy disenadora para ambos retos y estoy muy feliz de poder compartir con ustedes mis creaciones.

In Technique Twist Challenge these next two weeks we will be inspiring you to try the Rolled Quartz technique.The results are amazing thou the technique is simple!En el reto de Technique Twist estas dos semanas te inspiramos a intentar la tecnica llamada Rolled Quartz. Los resultados son encantadores, mas la tecnica es en si sencilla!



Rolled Quartz Technique with a Twist: My Twist was doing this on Core'dinations Cardstock instead of Window Sheets. This type of sandable cardstock comes in all Stampin'Up! colors now. I used Cherry Cobbler. I also added Glass Stampin Glimmer to the mix What do YOU think?
