Share that Link Tuesday: Organizing your Framelits and Thinlits

Sweetheart Texture Embossing Folder
Hello my friends,

Have you ever been curious how stampers around the world organize their dies.
I ALWAYS am!

I'VE moved several times since I started stamping and collecting dies. I've had full closets, a room at times, and just a desk at other places. Right now I have a closet (my pantry!) for all my stamping supplies. So ORGANIZATION is key to how productive I am.

First, I want to show you how I organize my dies right now.
Second, how my friends do it.
Third, what is out there.

Tuesdays is all about sharing! Sharing a project, a way, a tip, a joy!
So here it goes! ENJOY!

MY SWEET FRIEND FAITH STAINBROOK
made me this card with her new Sweetheart texture embossing folder and I just wanted to share it with you today. That is not a sentiment from Stampin'Up! BUT Oh I soo love the Word of God. What a needed Scripture. To know we ARE inscribed on the palm of His hand. (Isaiah 49:16)
Thanks my dear Faith for the powerful reminder! Loving your art!

PIN THIS TO REMEMBER TO TRY THESE IDEAS!

I KEEP MY BRUSH, MY PLATFORMS AND PRECISION BASE PLATE
IN THE SAME BASKET. EASY TO FIND!
I store my embossing folders in a different basket.

MY BASKET IS INSIDE MY PANTRY (aka craft closet) WITH MY BIG SHOT BY ITS SIDE.
I CAN ACTUALLY CUT QUICK CUTS WITHOUT MOVING MY BIG SHOT OUT OF THERE.

THIS IS HOW MY FRIEND DONNA DOES IT!
SHE SAID, "These are stored on magnetic sheets in a photo box. The box is not deep enough but it is what I do. I put my newest dies in the front and, moving towards the back I have Christmas dies in a section followed by shapes and in the back are my retired dies. The box is getting so full I plan to move the retired ones to another photo box soon!

THIS IS HOW MY FRIEND PAM STECKMAN DOES IT!
She said, Organizer and magnet sheets are from www.stampnstorage.com

THIS IS HOW MY FRIEND SARAH EDWARDS DOES HERS!
eeek! Looks so fun! She uses and Elfa container from the CONTAINER STORE
and for the magnets she uses the vent covers from Home Depot below.
She says those are thicker than most, which she likes.

THIS IS HOW MY FRIEND CINDY COLE does hers.
Love her organization. Cindy has many dies from different companies.
She divides them first by company, then (look below)
she adds a tag on the top with the company and name of the die.

Cindy said, " I buy my magnet sheets at Walmart in the hardware section.
The package is for magnetic vent covers, I just cut them to size. Home Depot, Lowe's or any other type store carries them. I keep mine in a basket. I have many other companies stamps and dies and follow Jennifer McGuire recommended stamp sleeves."
