Friday Innovate: Dynamic Texture

It is Friday Innovate and I want to share a way you can definitely innovate
with the newest Texture Impression folders from Stampin'Up!

Using the Foil Sheets to make an amazing Ruffled impression!

You NEED to watch my newest VIDEO below and totally
let me know when you try these amazing folders with the Foil Sheets.
Here I used the gold Foil Sheets together with the Ruffled Dynamic Texture Impressions.

I always have friends ask me HOW I place my sequins.
I am LOVING the new mini sequins Stampin'Up! brought with the new catty.

Here I used the You're Priceless stamp set with the Eclectic Layers Thinlits.
My favorite. This sentiment inspired my video and power word:
The Pressure is on!

Watch below!

The Silver Foil Sheets look amazing too!

Since the catty came out, this was one of my faves. So excited to bring it to you.
Are you under pressure?

God has great things in store for you.
Listen to the 3 steps to take when you are under Pressure on my video.

The insides are so cute! I used the retired Metallic Encore Ink to "colored" the diamonds.
Loved it!

Which card is your favorite?
I am working hard to show you different products, different ways and bring you great content. Praying you are more than blessed in this place.

Jesus loves you....He sees the diamond in you!

The Artwork of the Master by Jan Hess

The Artwork of the Master

As I sit on my porch in the pause between storms, I am overwhelmed by the sounds of creation, the very handiwork of God.  Straggling raindrops drip in rhythm from the roof, while birds add their melodies from the trees.  Rumblings of thunder announce the approaching storm from the west, as the vibration of wings announces the approach of a hummingbird as she swoops down to the feeder for a “spot of tea.”  From inside the house, an unexpected sound coming begins to accompany the music outside: the drone of a heavily-breathing husband as he takes a brief before-going-to-bed kind of nap.  All at once, my gaze is turned upward to the sight of water-logged clouds being pursued by the glow of a sun in its refusal to give way to the gray.  What an Amazing Artist stands behind it all!  In the midst of the impending storm on earth, dwellers-in-Heaven are even now singing and shouting praises to the One who created all things according to His will and for His pleasure!  (Revelation 4:11)  And we dwellers-on-earth join in, marveling at our God’s creative power!  Yes, in the beginning God created:  heavenly bodies and earthly ones, planets and plants, stars and starfish, angel warriors and human worshipers.

In spite of all the astounding beauty that surrounds us, the awe and wonder of you and me surpasses it all for out of all the wonders brought forth by a simple word spoken from the Creator’s mouth, only we humans were made in His image.  And as we are bearers of the image of our God who is Creator, we possess the ability to create—not just to reproduce—but to actually bring something into existence that emerges from an imaginative mind!

Beyond the initial act of creating you and me, the bible tells us that in the here and now, we are God’s workmanship. (Ephesians 2:10)  This word “workmanship” in the original language is “poema” from which we derive our word “poem.” Yes, WE are the Father’s poem, His work of art, His masterpiece, intended to display His creativity and His character!

Now, when we women exercise our creative gifts—whether it be stamping or sewing, painting or performing, writing or composing—we step back to take a good long look at what our hands have made and often find ourselves displeased, disenchanted, disappointed.  The idea we had in our minds did not translate so well onto the page, the stage or the cloth.   In a similar way, we step back and take a hard long look at ourselves, the work of the Father’s hands, and wonder how it is that we were made “this way.”  Not so with our Heavenly Father!

The Master Artist, who conceived us in His heart and mind before the world began, never steps back from His artwork and says, “I wish I would have made it this way instead.”  Rather, He declares, “It is very good!”  As you step back and take a look at God’s masterpiece of you, have you been denying the beauty with which the Father has dressed you?  Are you focusing on the spots and blots, blemishes and flaws, only to be displeased, disenchanted, disappointed?  If so, I encourage you today to step toward the One whose very work of art you are, to listen for His voice and hear Him say to your heart, “You have been fearfully and wonderfully made and My delight is in you.  My thoughts of you are precious and more numerous than the sands of the sea.  You are My workmanship and I do not make mistakes. Take heart, dear daughter, for you are lovely—and loved—and there is no flaw in you.  Rejoice today in what your Father’s hands have made:  YOU!”

For further encouragement, read Psalm 139.  It is the Father’s letter of delight regarding His prize masterpieces!

In His love,

Jan Hess

I am so grateful for these words and the gift of writing my sweet sister in Christ Jan Hess has. Thanks Jan for sharing the heart of the Father with me and each of my readers. Love you so much, Jess

Share that Link Tuesday: Organizing your Framelits and Thinlits

Sweetheart Texture Embossing Folder
Hello my friends,

Have you ever been curious how stampers around the world organize their dies.
I ALWAYS am!

I'VE moved several times since I started stamping and collecting dies. I've had full closets, a room at times, and just a desk at other places. Right now I have a closet (my pantry!) for all my stamping supplies. So ORGANIZATION is key to how productive I am.

First, I want to show you how I organize my dies right now.
Second, how my friends do it.
Third, what is out there.

Tuesdays is all about sharing! Sharing a project, a way, a tip, a joy!
So here it goes! ENJOY!

MY SWEET FRIEND FAITH STAINBROOK
made me this card with her new Sweetheart texture embossing folder and I just wanted to share it with you today. That is not a sentiment from Stampin'Up! BUT Oh I soo love the Word of God. What a needed Scripture. To know we ARE inscribed on the palm of His hand. (Isaiah 49:16)
Thanks my dear Faith for the powerful reminder! Loving your art!

PIN THIS TO REMEMBER TO TRY THESE IDEAS!

I KEEP MY BRUSH, MY PLATFORMS AND PRECISION BASE PLATE
IN THE SAME BASKET. EASY TO FIND!
I store my embossing folders in a different basket.

MY BASKET IS INSIDE MY PANTRY (aka craft closet) WITH MY BIG SHOT BY ITS SIDE.
I CAN ACTUALLY CUT QUICK CUTS WITHOUT MOVING MY BIG SHOT OUT OF THERE.

THIS IS HOW MY FRIEND DONNA DOES IT!
SHE SAID, "These are stored on magnetic sheets in a photo box. The box is not deep enough but it is what I do. I put my newest dies in the front and, moving towards the back I have Christmas dies in a section followed by shapes and in the back are my retired dies. The box is getting so full I plan to move the retired ones to another photo box soon!

THIS IS HOW MY FRIEND PAM STECKMAN DOES IT!
She said, Organizer and magnet sheets are from www.stampnstorage.com

THIS IS HOW MY FRIEND SARAH EDWARDS DOES HERS!
eeek! Looks so fun! She uses and Elfa container from the CONTAINER STORE
and for the magnets she uses the vent covers from Home Depot below.
She says those are thicker than most, which she likes.

THIS IS HOW MY FRIEND CINDY COLE does hers.
Love her organization. Cindy has many dies from different companies.
She divides them first by company, then (look below)
she adds a tag on the top with the company and name of the die.

Cindy said, " I buy my magnet sheets at Walmart in the hardware section.
The package is for magnetic vent covers, I just cut them to size. Home Depot, Lowe's or any other type store carries them. I keep mine in a basket. I have many other companies stamps and dies and follow Jennifer McGuire recommended stamp sleeves."

Other very creative ideas from the web I found are below!

Tammy from does it this way. Check her link here!

Check how cool Mena Green used to organize hers here!

And her new way here!

Look how cute!!! Here is Sam Donald's link!

Check what a super cool way Amanda does it here!

How do you do it?
DID YOU LIKE ANY OF THESE IDEAS?
Leave me a comment below! Can't wait to hear what you think about these posts.
