Stampin'Up! Greetings Thinlits

Ways to give thanks

There are many ways to give thanks…

I am learning this every single day.

It is a lifelong university. To not get distracted by this world. Keeping our eyes in heaven. Being mindful of what we have and not pay much attention to what we don't.

I am very blessed to have people who supports me when I am down and people who laugh with me when I am laughing too.

Here a few cards I made to send and give some thanks to those who have been my support during these hard days of February.

O dear, bring March and spring too! This weather is crazy! :p

I actually made the cards below FIRST,
then decided to use the extra banners created with the "thanks" in them. :)

Black and White Inspiration

So this was the first card I made. I wanted to make a black and white card because of the beautiful gift I received (see below) from my sweet friend Jess.  Then I also wanted to use the Greetings Framelits cause my friend Anna JUST got them and I wanted to show her ideas. :)
I found a sample below that inspired me. Is inside our Stampin'Up! catalog.
Love when those little connections happen.

Stampin'Up! You're So Lovely kit

Once more this kit amazed me.

Lately my heart has gone toward the kits Stampin'Up! offers. Not one of them has disappointed me.

I am in LOVE with this one.

You can see the first cards I showed here.

This kit is available only till the end of May or while supplies last.

You're So Lovely kit.

Gotta get more of those beautiful shiny stars.
This card is so shiny and happy in person.

Kit comes with the Black and White twine and those cute clips too.
It comes with a roller sponge and stencils and instructions! :)

You can follow all the instructions and make 12 cards with envelopes and 12 bags, or you can get your creative juices running.

Here I decided to sponged the whole card with Watermelon Wonder instead of the other way around. As you see, this kit coordinates with the Butterflies Framelits we have in the catalog. So I cut one in Black an adhered.

Absolutely wonderful kit!

Can't wait to sit and create more blessings with it.

Thanks for stopping by my creative spot today.

You are my blessings!

Share your story with Paper Pumpkin 4: Story update

Sweet stampers!

How are you all..this year started as busy as all the others. LOL!
Nothing new, right!

I am so happy to share a bit of me with you today.
As you may already know I started stamping after starting scrapbooking.
I fell in love with card making a while after than that and BOOM, I stopped being as consistent with scrapbooking.

Any others hands say "me too!" :/

O, well. I joined a super sweet workshop offered by Scrapbooking/Project Life designer Ali Edward a couple of weeks ago (like I have nOTHING else on my agenda), and realized how MUCH I truly love telling my stories.

The workshop's name is actually Storytelling with Project Life(She will repeat this next year)
I decided I was not going to worry much about what has not been done at this point.
I will get to it little by little.

I want to focus on the present. So I started doing weekly PL pages.
It is an interesting way…it is helping me to focus on the little things that I enjoy, the little things -GOOD THINGS- that happen thru my day. And even ponder about the not-so-good ones.

I will tell you more as I learn more. But I am super excited to keep showing you more of what I started. I used my February page from Paper Pumpkin for my first weeks of February (summary right, cause I am not worrying about what was not done).

I used our December's Paper Pumpkin kit and the Memories in the Making PL card kit.
I kept my embellishments low but focused on the pictures, the stories AND AND AND
I ACTUALLY journaled on this layout.

Ugh, so many times I forget to truly finish a layout saying something, writing something.
I love how computer-type looks  but I have no time for that, soooo…my handwriting suffice.

I am happy I called it done…now I am working on this weeks layout.
Surely the Lord will teach me more how to live in the moment and being THANKFUL. Some of my many goals. :)

Using my stash like my other favorite challenge on Facebook says, right!
I used THAT heart die-cut I made back in November when I went to On Stage in Baltimore, MD. Yeap…I was reserving it for something special. :)

Does that EVER happens to you?

For some reason mixing Paper Pumpkin with either traditional scrapbooking or Project Life (pocket style memory keeping) is my favorite thing to do.

One cute favor I made with January's kit. Loved it!

Cottage Greetings Kit by Stampin'Up!

Hi there!

I had a tough weekend.

With that I will say it all.

BUT, the good news is I already had plans with my friend Bea to create together so I decided to relax and create. (God knows all things).

We were both so blessed to have this time together.

I am so blessed to have her in my life. Even if only temporary (boo), I am very thankful God put her by my side.

So, today I want to show you some of HER beautiful creations.

These are sooooo pretty.

LEAVE SOME LOVE FOR BEA below on the comments area. Thank youuu!!!!

Bea brought her beautiful Cottage Greetings kit and stamp.
These cards surprised me. They are bigger than usual and I love how they make a statement with their elegance and shine. They also have a wood panel that is very unique.

Hope you enjoy Bea's creations I think these are truly beautiful!
Awesome job my sweet friend. Keep making beauty!

Below you can see what the kit comes with.

Did you see those super cute embellishments! eek!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a strong, healthy, productive day!

Share your Story with Paper Pumpkin Week 3: Mini-album

Hello my dear stampers!

Life has gone way too quick these last days. We are mid-February and thank God doing well. Had a wonderful time with my stamping friends and customers last Saturday and they inspired me so much. (Will show u some of our products here soon).

Let me share a quick project I made with my Paper Pumpkin.
I decided to organize my things a bit different this month. All my PP kits leftovers are in one box, and the embellishments in another very nicely organized. Have you noticed how many cool embellishments we own. Wao! So happy to have such beautiful things to craft with!

I will take some pictures and show you how I am organizing it right now in my next Pumpkin Challenge post.

Today I am sharing one more page I made for my monthly mini-album. You can see the original post here.
Is an album made with Paper Pumpkin materials (cards, envelopes, embellishment..) and I am loving it.
As you see, my base is actually one of my PP envelopes. I adhered the picture to the flap of the envelope. So I could open it and insert some cool memories inside.

This is the inside of the flap, which I think is funny. Is the first time I scrapbook a "not so nice" photo. Look at all my kiddos' faces, and MY EYES! Ugh! O, well..it is what it is.

I made the best of it, and reality was, I was having a great Mother's Day.
I felt loved and complete with my family by my side. If ONLY we had the perfect picture. Ha!
Not this time, but the memory is beautiful (the pic was hilarious!).

All the stickers are from previous Paper Pumpkin kits. Stamps too!

The most beautiful part of this May envelope is…the pictures and memories inside, of my hubby and I.
We are far away from being the perfect couple, but truth be told. I don't care about being perfect, but I care that we are together, honoring God together, raising our children together and seeking God passionately. That is BETTER for me than "perfect".

That is the best story I can share today for our wonderful challenge at Pumpkin Challenge!
A very imperfect couple, serving a perfectly loving, gracious God.
Love you my love, love our lives together, and I live with a happy anticipation of what the Lord has in store for us. In the meantime, I am enjoying every moment.

Creative Blessings,

Jessica Urrutia
" Prepare yourselves for action, be self controlled, and set your hope FULLY on the grace given you when Jesus Christ is revealed". 1 Peter 1:13

I've been meditating on this verse this week. Our hope FULLY on His grace. Not on our abilities, not on people, not on money or resources...
He has given you ALL the grace you need to abound in every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8)….wao!

At My Pumpkin Challenge we are sharing stories this month as we create beautiful projects with my Paper Pumpkin kits. Go check it out and join us too!

Share your Story with Paper Pumpkin Week 2

So happy to be back sharing some ideas with this month's Paper Pumpkin Cute Conversations.

We are sharing stories this month at our Pumpkin Challenge!

The cute embossing folder is Happy Hearts.

That tiny banner I used is from the Project life Memories in the Making.

Marshmallows! I love this twine…and those cute banners are perfect little tags.

Another way to use those big hearts. :)
With a new stamp set (Happy Home) in the
Occasions Catalog.

MY STORY (PART2)
See part 1 here!

I told you last week I would fill you in with my story.

My Why…

Several months after I joined Stampin'Up! I had a dream.

In my dream (long story short) I was presenting in a conference from the company.

As I was going up the steps to the stage the Lord Jesus spoke to me.

He said, there is someone here with excruciating pain in the right shoulder. Call her up and I will heal her.

I respectfully debated a bit with the Lord, since I was not in a christian conference perse.

He said, do it.

I did…and tens or hundreds of women came up front and ALL were healed.

My heart got a vision. I do what I do to bring healing to others. This happens in many ways. My prayer is that the service I offer becomes a source of healing for many.

I still pray and still stamp. I have a vision.

What is your story?

What  makes you wake up every morning?

Why you do what you do?

Creative Blessings!

Jessica Urrutia

Here she used the SAB-Limited edition stamp set Sky is the Limit
and the Annual catalog stamp sets Kinda Eclectic (sun), Ray of Sunshine for the sentiment

This second card was created by my friends and demonstrator Kathy Howes.
Kathy & I met at our last Leadership conference back in January 2015.
