Heart Mini Scrapbook | Paper Pumpkin Kisses and Hugs

Do you like Mini Albums? There is one thing I love more than making cards! 

Oh my, Did I say that? Yes I did. I actually love scrapbooking so much but don't give much time to it. 

Since time is limited I decided to go simple. 

The Newest Paper Pumpkin kit Kisses and Hugs inspired me to create this super simple Heart Shaped Mini Album. I prepared it as a gift for my husband this Valentine's Day. 

A testament to 21 Valentine's together! 

You can see the the entire accordion album in this video below and the heart shaped box I made for it. I shared photos on my post yesterday here.

Though I love to scrap, card making won my heart as is a gift I can give at any time and it tends to be faster to make than scrapbooks. Haha! At least for me. 

At the beginning of the video tutorial I showed how I joined the heart cards together to create this simple mini album.

To print each of the 2" x 3" photos 

I used my favorite mini printer, my HP Sprocket!

How to Make a Heart-Shaped Box | Kisses and Hugs Paper Pumpkin Kit 2022

DIY Heart Shaped Box

Have you ever tried to make a heart shaped box yourself? Hmm...me neither! But I gave it a try and it turned out pretty good.

Inspired by the Kisses and Hugs Paper Pumpkin January 2022 Kit I decided to make a gift for my hubby for Valentine's Day.

I created an easy mini album using the heart shaped accordion cards that came in the kit and the beautiful extras. I will share more pics of it on my next post here (in process).

It may look like a lot of work but it is actually simple to make. 

You need strong cardstock or cardboard. I used the one that backs the Designer Series Paper Stampin'Up! sells. You will need scissors as well, good glue and whatever you wish to embellish.

This is the back of my box. I actually placed a piece of tear n tape to hold the ribbon in position after I was pleased with where it would end. So yes, under that ribbon there is a strip of tape. 

This is how it looks prior to opening it. I so hope he likes it.
