How to Make a Waterfall Card Fold

 A WATERFALL CARD WITH THE NEW PAPER PUMPKIN KIT SWEETER WITH YOU 

This week I was able to create a sweet Waterfall Fun fold with the newest Paper Pumpkin kit, Sweeter with You, in my YouTube channel. You can access for FREE here. 

Measurements below for those who need to see it written. Hope you enjoy it!

This beautiful kit:

Makes 8 cards: 2 each of 4 designs with 8 coordinating envelopes

Precut paper pieces and vellum accents

Hand-painted card base designs

Coordinating colors: Garden Green (Classic Stampin’ Spot), Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger

Charming gingham box coordinates with the kit!

The waterfall card is an interactive card. The recipient pulls the bottom tab with ribbon and receives an extra message or messages.

I used the different strawberries that came with the kit. But you can use stamped images or stickers as well.

Almost everything I used comes with the kit. I used some Garden Green and Basic White cardstock and some Mossy Meadow Gold ribbon.

The inside sentiment will be available in September with the new Suite Peace on Earth.

WATERFALL CARD FOLD MEASUREMENTS

1. Cut a card base from a piece of cardstock 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". I used the now that came with the kit.

2. Cut one strip of Garden Green cardstock to 9" x 2"  and score to 2", 2-3/4", 3-1/2" and 4" on the long side. Fold on the scored lines inside, same direction all. 

3. Cut one strip of cardstock to 

 4 1/4" x 1"

 

I chose a piece from the pink polkadot card base.

3. Adhere the short strip two inches from the bottom of the front of the card and glue only the sides. Leave the middle without glue so you can insert the 9" x 2" strip through.

4.Pass the long non scored part of your Garden Green strip behind the horizontal strip and hold steady at the bottom.

5. With your long strip folded forward match the end of the front of it to the bottom of the horizontal strip. Watch video if needing a visual. Adhere that spot to the short strip.

6. Cut 4 1-7/8" Basic White cardstock squares. Now  adhere each 1 7/8" squares to the front of your waterfall. Start adding the first one to the bottom of your front strip, the next to the next scored rectangle and the next two higher as well. Easier to watch than write. :)

7. Embellish as shown to be creative!
