On Time for Christmas: I See Wreaths Everywhere!

Hello my sweet stampers,

Is it just me or everyone's life seem fuller this time of the year. Oh dear! And THAT IS, without Thanksgiving & Christmas close by yet.
Haha, I think it has to do with school starting!

Well, there is always something trying to get our attention.
I am keeping focused so far working in small increments. Here is my card for August.
Yes, a bit late! But hey, as long as we are working on it...RIGHT?
(GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK HERE!)

As you read in my previous post I think is genius to stay focused on one idea while your life is full, in order to keep your momentum going.

I started with one wreath...to be honest was not very excited about it.
But, wreaths are just so special now after a week.
I see wreaths everywhere literally! LoL :)

Are you following a pattern?
Sticking to a certain style of cards?

  1. As always, you are so inspiring, Jessica, not just with "card-making," either! Thank you for your beautiful post and project!

"I" always love fancy folds, but... have JUST tried my hand at a very cool water-coloring technique that is fool proof! I swiped (3) ink pad colors across the large clear block "I" and then spritzed the block quite a bit with water. Then I stamped the block down at the edge of the Shimmer White card stock and then slid the block back towards me, straight off the card stock (that took a little force to get it to move off the c/s but worked perfectly). I love, love the results which were ombre in my case, having swiped ink pad colors: Marina Mist at the bottom, Bermuda Bay and then Island Indigo. (Give it a try; it's such fun and very cool! Oh, my shimmer white c/s measured 3 3/4" x 5" and Block "I" fit wonderfully from top to bottom at the side.) Thanks for sharing, Jessica! Blessings to you!
