In The City Box Set by Cynthia Cole

In the City Box Set

This month my friend Cindy Cole made an amazing set for you to be inspired and get going with this cool In the City stamp set . I am so grateful to have Cindy in my life and for her heart of generosity sharing these projects with me and you all. Enjoy!

In the City Cards:

I created all the card bases in standard size of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" using the heavyweight cardstock.
Top layer is 4" x 5 1/4" in either white, grey, or black cardstock

I stamped a bunch of images with black ink on the heavyweight white cardstock and colored them in with the markers.  Then I cut them out leaving a small white border.

I die cut a sky, hills and road using the MFT Hit the slopes dies for 2 of the cards.
Then placed multiple images from the set on the card to create a scene.  Some are popped up with dimensionals.  I added Glossy Accents to all windows and used Wink of Stella on select images.  I colored every dot on the embossing folder with the white gel pen for added interest.

I stamped multiple images in Sahara Sand ink on a white card base and a grey card base.  I die cut a stitched circle from the top right side and offset it a little bit. These panels are popped up with fun foam onto the base.  Then I colored only certain images for inside the circles and either glued them down with Tombow or used dimensionals.

In the City Box:

Using heavyweight black cardstock, cut one piece at 6 1/8" x 7 3/8" for the lid. Score at 3/4" on all four sides.  Cut up to score line at each corner, trim off a sliver on each side of the tabs and fast fuse together.

Cut another piece of heavyweight black cardstock at 7 1/2" x 8 3/4" for the base. Score at 1 1/2" on all four sides.  Cut up to score line at each corner, trim off a sliver on each side of the tabs and fast fuse together.

Decorate the top of the lid with one of the same designs as for one of the cards
