More Garden In Bloom for You

Giving thanks for your awesome support is one of my favorite "hobbies".

Here is a card I made for a sweet lady who placed an order in my store a few days back.

I love creating with this set. Is so fun and different. You can make so many different things with it.

Is a simple card with lots of love in it.
I created a background with the flowers and topped it with a center dab of color.
Don't you love that little bee?

I used my X-Large Oval Punch to punch the sentiment.

I had to make a cute inside…what better than that bee? :)

As you can see there is so many different style cards you can make with the same stamp set.
 Here is another thank you.:)

I used Garden in Bloom and Tin of cards "Thank you".

I hand cut my butterflies and stamped the sentiment right on the DSP (Designer Series Paper).
Elegant Garden DSP is gorgeous.

Did you see yesterday cards with this same set?

Here is my schedule of events for the next two months.

Love cardmaking...

Thought I would share with you a couple of cards I made this week.
One I made for a new friend who placed an order online in my store. Hope we get to meet in person soon.
The second, I was simply thinking of a friend I love, she will get this in the mail very soon.

Love having a few minutes here and there to do what I love.
I love card making. Anything paper-wise really makes me happy…but card making is so easy, quick and enjoyable.
I am sure you understand. No better feeling than creating and sending a blessing. How powerful!

I haven't use my Butterflies Basics stamp set and coordinating framelitsI really like this. Is funny, my friend Pam Steckman got me all inspired to do this card.
Her beautiful sketch was so neat. I decided to try it in different colors and different stamps.
To see her beautiful card visit Stampin' in the Sun.
(I will add the exact link when she actually post it, sorry. Is not there yet!)

Here is the inside of the card.
I used one of the sentiments from One Big Meaning stamp set.

I made this cute card with my new Kind Koala stamp set. I truly have wonderful friends. I need to remind them more often.I used my new Lots of Labels Framelit and Banner Triple Punch.

All my products are Stampin'Up! I will keep this post simple.
Life is full of challenges….keep trusting God. Keep dreaming BIG. Keep training HARD. This place is not our true home. But while we are here let's make a difference.

Create blessings,

Definitely Dahlia by Stampin'Up!

I know,we all have so many flowers.
But do we ever stop there? :)

Nope, I got this beautiful flower stamp Definitely Dahlia with my first new catalog order and I love using it indeed.

In my first card I used Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder with my heat tool and the results are lovely.

The "thank you" came from One Big Meaning stamp set. Loving this thanks sentiments. I embossed it with White embossing powder.

Colors: Rich Razzleberry, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.
This card shines.

I used the same sentiment stamp set: One Big Meaning on this card above.
Then I used the Dots for Days on ONLY the bottom part.

For this card I tried something different with the flower. I use the "kissing technique".
You can see below that AFTER I inked my flower I stamped my new Dots for Days Background.
The background was clean, so what it does is pull some of the ink from the flower.

Can you see the difference. Is subtle, but pretty!

My children started school and my blogging life came to a halt…little by little I will be able to share more of what is on my calendar and my fun projects with you. Feels good to be back!

Stay tune, and thanks for sharing life with me. Love having each of you in my life indeed!

Creative Blessings!

Simple Scraps Monday Week 5: Use your Scraps as Backgrounds

Hello!

This month I will be having a technique class on backgrounds. I chose to use my scraps this time to give me a cool background, since I am into backgrounds. Hey!

I found retired Baja Breeze card bases that were already cut and scored and folded. :)
Also pieces of retired DSP cut to 6 x 6. So I got my Banner Triple Punch and got to play.

Here are my last weeks of ideas for all your pretty scraps of paper.

You have them, why not use them?

I had these cute papers waiting to be used. I cut them at 4" x 5 1/4"
and adhered them to the front of a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base.

I added banners from the chunk of paper cut from the 6" x 6".
Here I used one of My Paper Pumpkin stamp sets. I need some invites.
Want to invite some friends over for games soon ;)

The Triple Banner Punch can be used in multiple ways as you can see.

A couple more. Easy cards showing your pretty papers.
Time to invite some friends over for games.

Next week I will show you more ideas with this cute punch and your scraps.
Get inspired with more ideas for your scraps below!

Week one - Sketches
Week two - Blessing Notes and Bags
Week three- Paper Piecing
Week Four - Use it as it is
Week Five - Use your Scraps as Backgrounds

Don't forget to RSVP for August 15th…and if coming Aug 8th for Stamp and Connect,
 send me a jingle!
