Paper Pumpkin DISCOUNT!

My dear Paper Pumpkin friends,
I have great news! Stampin'Up! is giving 50% OFF to anyone who joins My Paper Pumpkin from now till June 10. That is half OFF the $19.95 per month, so each kit will only be $9.98 plus tax. WONZA!

There are so many things I like about these kits.

1. It is a month-by-month subscription. I can skip a month or more whenever I want to or cancel too. I LOVE the fun of opening  a surprise gift ALL FOR ME every month and that it comes straight to my door.
But there is more…
2. I like the color combinations and different projects that come with each kit.
It includes a clear block with my first box. Then each kit comes with one or two ink spots (a small ink pad), a photo tutorial, embellishments, glue dots and dimensionals when you need them. Twine or ribbon, depending on the project. Pretty cool embellishments that I am not able to get unless I am a subscriber. Love the exclusivity! yay!

 3. Variety and Inspiration
Every month Stampin'Up! posts a video in their Paper Pumpkin You Tube page here and also a ton of different ideas on their Paper Pumpkin Pinterest page. I also have a Pinterest page dedicated to Paper Pumpkin and a PumpkinChallenge blog where multiple demos share ideas every single Wednesday.

Make sure you check these links. So much you could make with these awesome kits and a little imagination.

4. Friendship
One of the best things that has happened to me through Paper Pumpkin is staying connected and meet friends from all over. Starting with my local friends, and my friends from others states I lived in and some I rarely talk with. PP kits keeps me connected through the sharing of ideas and more.

5. Budget Friendly
ESPECIALLY now!!
Usually Paper Pumpkin cost $19.95 plus tax. This time when you join PP by June 10th you get the first two HALF OFF. That is honestly a great deal.
But even if you pass the date, PP is a budget friendly kit. Is only $19.95 and I tell you, you WILL get to create beautiful things, have cards and/or gift ready to give that you made for a fraction of what you would pay for a store-bought item.
6. Easy Creative Outlet
Paper Pumpkin comes with instructions for every project. And all projects have an estimated finished time of 30 minutes or less. I usually take longer cause I like mixing previous kits and use my stash of embellishments I get from the kits. You can always see my projects here every Wednesday or at MyPumpkin Challenge where my demo friends also post.
The Fine Print:
  • For new subscribers only.
  • Available for month-to-month subscriptions, not prepaid subscriptions.
  • Discount applied to one kit per month for the first two months of a new subscription. After the first two months, the price for each month's kit will go to the regular price: $19.95.
  • Enter the Promo Code, SAVE50 when you sign up.
  • New subscribers must join by Wednesday, June 10, 2015; 11:50 PM (MT).

Let's Take a Bow, Pumpkin!

Oh my, I need to tell ya! I am not sure what is going on with 2015, but besides going SUPER FAST it has been extremely busy for me in every sense of the word. At home, in schooling, in ministry, in business….I have been waiting for the year o slow down, will IT EVER!?

I assume that's why O got "my word" from Heaven, enjoy! (the roller coaster, crazy year!)

Here is my belayed addition to this week's Pumpkin Challenge!
Hope you get inspired to go outside the box with these kits. I think they work perfect with Project Life style of memory keeping.

From the kit I got:
1. The color combination (Pacific Point (blue) and Daffodil Delight (yellow). I added Chocolate Chip. I miss using that color. Is rich and yummy!
2. The size of the cards was pretty much like a perfect PL card.
3. This month's stamp…really! Is perfect for a title "Love you…dude!"
4. The pocket….I love love LOVE hiding my journaling. Why, not sure. Maybe because I post online and don't want EVERYthing to go published. Hellooooo…anybody with me on this. :P
5. Stamps! Way too cute not to use for embellishments.
6. The extra Project Life cards went perfect with my son's shirt…these cards I got FREE as a Sale-a-bration item this year. yay! Love free!

I love the photos of this little boy. That day he actually asked me for a picture. Not sure if he was in the super hero mode or something. haha!
My embellishments were  created with Paper Pumpkin stamps. The little epoxy sticker on top of 'son' is from my Stampin'Up! store here but the other I created using a Window Sheet circle and Crystal Effects. Yay!

And there is my little bow with a Paper Pumpkin brad in the middle.
Love having left overs from other kits. Use them!

And my cute little dude! I am in love! :)

Oooh, don't forget! These are the last days of the "old catalog", the new is coming! Separate JUNE 13TH, it is my birthday and we will celebrate together! hOW! STAMPING! Come and check out new catalog samples, make an takes and more!! Bring a plate to share…will be fun!

Ballon Bash Ideas

Hello,

Hope you had a beautiful weekend remembering those who sacrificed so much for this amazing country we live in and spending time with those you love.

As for me I've spend time slowing down, loving my children and again slowing down a bit to give thanks and regain perspective, heavenly perspective. Don't we all need times like these?

I am also organizing a bit. Interestingly learning myself to be a better steward.

Here some projects I made at a recent workshop. We started with a simple card made form a notecard and the Ballon Bash stamp set.
This set will retire coming June 2nd. It is such a good good set.

For this card we used the back or reverse side of our photopolymer stamp to make an inked background for our image. Background was made in Pool Party and sentiments stamped in Momento Black Ink.
TIP: Turn your photopolymer stamp on the reserve and stick like that to your clear block. Inked as you would always do and stamp. :)

This cool card with a band was made by all my guests. We used the Envelope Punch Board (my fave!) to create an envelope out of a 6 x 6 piece of Ballon Bash DSP. I used the Starburst framelits die and 2 1/2" circle punch for the belly band. Lucky Stars embossing folder and the Itty Bitty Accent punch add some needed stars to this cute project.

We glued a Daffodil Delight 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" Cardbase to the center of our envelope; then a Whisper White Card made out of a piece of 3 1/4" x 6 1/2" folded in half. Tangelo Twist and Bermuda Bay Ink Pads make such happy cards.

Simple 3 x 3 card…..this time I used my clear block inked in Hello Honey to stamp a background. Yes, the clear block perse. Then stamped the sentiment in Momento Black Ink. Tan-Tan!

Check Ballon Bash before it is gone! :)

Hope you enjoyed these projects today…. I am in the business of crafting blessings and making friends and I am loving it. Keep crafting blessings. Be the best part of someone's day today.

Creative Blessings!

Looking for ways to give...

Hashtag Hello Stamp Set
Few days ago I prepared for a workshop. I made a gift for my hostess and two different gifts for door prizes and two projects and turned not three.
I do this in hopes to inspire others, give them an awesome time of stamping and helping them pick products that they love and will use again.

A sweet friend told me I may be giving too much. I still gave and prepared. It was in my heart.

Now yesterday I was intently praying for His purposes for me and particularly through this business. Such a beautiful word when He said GIVING is part of it.

So…I am on a journey of faith. A Journey of giving. I watched this video (amazing confirmation of His unfailing words) and wrote the following. Please go watch it right now…it will transform something inside…it will.

"This touched my heart so strong. I want to be a giver….I want to give extravagantly because God has given to me extravagantly. Thanks Lord for all the examples of joyful giving that you have given me in my entire life. My desire is to show that same kindness to others. What an amazing story."

You can see it here on my StampaBlessing Facebook page (even if u don't have a fcbk page u can).

Sweet treats for all my hostess guests.
The theme was birthdays so they can reuse with a gift card or small candy.
Hashtag Hello together with Envelope Punch Board
Hashtag hello is on discount as it retires.

5 x 5 piece of DSP, washi tape, circle framelits or 2" punch,
Envelope Punch Tool, Itty Bitty Accents Punch (star), Word Window Punch

One of my favorites from the Occasions Catalog
This stamp set will retire at the end of May!!

I filled this Chevron treat bag with cards for a door prize.
Treat bags are now discounted too! :)

My hostess Meg received this Paper Purse, embellished with the Butterflies Thinlits Die,
full of cards made with my all time favorite (retiring "sniff")
Well- Worded Stamp Set. Check the cards below.

I used my 2 1/2" circle punch for all these cards
Card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Currently on the Weekly Deals at only $5.96 till Monday night!

and the Mustache Framelits…run this one will retire too! Is so awesome for easy masculine cards.  And is on discount at ONLY $3.98….can you BELIEVE that!?!

Hope my friend enjoyed these.

This was another cute door prize. It had two cards already made
and two cards to make with everything needed included.

2 Corinthians 9:12
This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.

I will share a bit more of the areas of giving that the Lord is opening for me through this business in the next posts. I have been blessed with many beautiful examples of life-giving people in my life.

What are some of the ways YOU practice giving?
Please share below…:)

Stippled Blossoms: So sad is leaving...

I got this new stamp set Stippled Blossoms last month and by the time I started creating with it is retiring. :(  Well…I will ENJOY it as it lasts. Here is a sample I made with it for a class.

Here I used the Mini Treat Bag Framelits and the Circles Framelits too!
The Beautiful paper is

I made a coordinating card using the "for you" that comes with the Mini Treat Bag Framelits and same colors and materials as above.

Looking for ways to make my blogging experience better in the midst of my busy days. Love you all…thanks for your support and encouraging words.

Creative Blessings,

Jessica Urrutia

Paper Pumpkin Stamps So Versatile

Hello my dear stampers,

I've been MIA lately. My life in 2015 is all about ENJOYing and I tell you is never boring! Besides several trips with and without family (that's new for me!) I have also been leading several classes and workshops in my area. O dear! My to-do list keeps growing. I JUST finished like two hrs of folding laundry and ironing shirts for hubby and I…and folding and folding….sigh

Let me share such cool ideas I had with the Paper Pumpkin stamps. You will LOVE this and will want to try them yourself.

Materials:

*4 Notecards and Envelopes (they come in a packet of 20 for only $5.95)
*Bits of Real Red, and Crumb Cake Cardstock….rrally like my scraps
*Real Red, Blushing Bride,Pear Pizzaz, Crumb Cake and Daffodil Deloght Ink Pads.
*Paper Pumpkin stamps from Love you a Lot kit (April'15), Sew You kit-the little hello (March '15)), Layers of Gratitude (February '15), Filled with Love-the tiny heart (January '15), All Shook Up -triangles (December '14)

My inspiration as usual…the bows!

Have you ever tried turning your photopolymer stamps upside down and inking them.
I did here! I stamp the back of the same stamp (the little triangles square) on Daffodil Delight yellow and the correct side with Blushing Bride pink

Kits used: All Shook Up "happy birthday"
Layers of Gratitude "triangles"

To make my sun I used the Layers f Gratitude stamps and the hello from Love you a Lot (April'15) Love the results! What do you think!

For my cute balloons I used again the back of one of these circle stamps and
then I stamped the circles, all from "In the Bag" kit. "It's your birthday" sentiment comes from the August 2015 Wish Big. Oooh I am so loving each of these kits just mentioning them.

Last but not least my tree! Layers of Gratitude (so versatile) , the hearts from the Filled with Love (January'15) kit and "hello friend" from the All Shook Up kit.
