Wreaths were loved by many

I got to communicate with Sue, director at the Milton Public Library and I was glad to hear many loved the decorations made for the Annual Ballroom Gala celebrated last Friday. Such a blessing!
She sent me a few photos of the event and the decorations we made.

Sweet time with New Stamping Friends

Last Saturday I had a wonderful time with some new stamping friends. I ran a workshop for my friend Kathy P. and her friends and it was super fun. One of our projects was this cute bookmark with the Irresistibly Specialty DSP from Sale-a-bration. Absolutely a must!
I will show more of the projects we created this Thursday.
Thanks so much for visiting me today…what an honor!

Love having your friendship…thanks for all you do!

Sending Wishes Your Way

Good day everyone,

Hope you are having a restful weekend  and get some good time to create blessings for others.
Here is a card I made inspired by all the gold wreaths I made in the last days.

Hope you like it!
That cute butterfly comes from the Basics Butterflies Framelits and the sentiment also from the Butterflies Basics stamp set -it is in backordered at the moment, but soon to start shipping, stay tuned!
Gorgeous Designer Series Paper is Sweet Dreams. Top is a page from a book :)
I had the most fun changing the color of that cute vanilla button.
Yes, those come in vanilla color not gold. Hehe! Loving this gold spray bottle.

The flower on the left was done using the Flower Medallion Punch.
I punched like 7 times a thin page of a book. Glued together with hot glue and crumple adding a bit of water. Last I sprayed with gold and added the button last.
The right side flower was made using my oldie but favorite Fun Flowers Bigz Die.

Take time to breathe and do what you love.
Take time to appreciate, really appreciate all your blessings.
Take time to live and live abundantly.
Take time to seek God with all your heart, all your mind and all your strength.
Take time to love and love BIG, and don't forget to
take time to dream, dream in colors…stamp blessings today in everything you do.

Love you!

Bouquet Die Flower and Library Paper Wreath

Yesterday was a special day, I finished this fun project and was able to deliver it to the place were they will be displayed. I made about 20 wreaths and 20 centerpiece embellishments to support the Milton Public Library and their Anual Balloom Gala. I have been looking for a fun project to try my  Bouquet Bigz L Die with. And I did!  Gotta love the big flowers you can create with it.

My Stampin'Up! Materials:
Bouquet Bigz L Die & Big Shot Die Cut Machine, Butterflies Framelits (is on backordered, but soon will be released again:),
My Other Materials:
a book from the library (well several for the cones), black and vanilla card stock  dollar store gold tissue paper, photo film, fishing line to hang them -all these was provided by the library-; crop-a-file and eyelets, a hot glue gun and a can of gold spray

This is the back of the wreath, these will be hung from the ceiling so both sides needed something pretty.

The first one I made.

Remember I made bunch…my Living Room was bombarded by wreaths this week.
I had a group of friends that came two Sundays ago and made about 7 flowers with me and cut and sponged and prepped for 20 wreaths. I so love having crafty amazing friends.
Thanks Virginia, Caroline, Cynthia and Lynnsey!

Hanging

I really liked them, what do you think?

I am living the word I received from heaven this year: enjoy.
I felt such a joy sharing these with my community. We may be selling some for donations to the library after the event. So excited! My kids and I love this library and have been happy to volunteer for events.

And since we have been hibernating this week (my kiddos have been fighting fevers and colds all week long). yesterday my girly (who was feeling better) and I did some Easter Crafts. Here is her cards. I think she is a nature. She did fabulous, and I am so proud of her.

Super easy and cute for this age.
She took one of my Layers of Gratitude Paper Pumpkin stamps and made a background.  We then cut an oval and she proceeded to tape strips of pretty paper on the back of that layer. She loved punching some Itty Bitty flowers and adding bling. :)

Hope you are encouraged to use your talents to bless your community.
Is not always all about "what can I get?"…why not "What can I give?"
The Milton Library in Pennsylvania gives and gives and has so many neat events.

I am grateful for the opportunity and so excited to share it with you.
I will be sharing some tips on this and the centerpieces on he next days plus a card I made inspired by this project.

Have a creative weekend!

Leave me your love with your comments.
I always see them and try to always reply.:)

Blessing others…and Bouquet Die by Stampin'Up!

For some reason it seems as if (as one door for business closed early this month) other smaller doors to bless opened up wide for me.

I have been creating for others more than ever, it is been refreshing to say the truth.

Here I designed some "belly" bands for some journals my pastors gave in gratitude to two wonderful and very loved ministers during the Men's Conference a couple of weeks ago.

AND I am still finishing my paper wreaths…have you seen sneak peaks on Facebook?
Have YOU?

These were done with all Stampin'Up products.
Gotta love the manly combination of Island Indigo with Smokey Slate. Stamp set used was Be the Star! Gotta love it!
Little sentiment was from  Banner Banter.

I was making a donation for an event, but my contact was not able to deliver it on time.
Is ok! At least it will be ready for the next event ;)

I embellished my package with this precious flower. I've been using my Bouquet Bigz L Die by Stampin'Up! a lot. Love how simple was to make this type of flower.

I cut only 8 big petals,
sprayed them with a water bottle gently
and crumple each of them up in my hands.
Overlap the bottoms (it comes with a slit) next.
When dry put together with a hot glue gun.
5 petals on the bottom, 4 on the top.
Add a simple flower (the smallest in the die) from a library book page in the middle all scrunch up.
Last but not least I sprayed the whole flower with the Vanilla Smooch Spray. Love how glittery beautiful it looks. Is hard to see in the picture. (sorry!)

Want to hear something funny?
Yesterday night my sweet Emma comes to both mommy and daddy to say a joke. She asks, "How do you call the kisses of a cow?"
…..er…have no idea huh?

"Smoooooooch!" Hehe… We have one who loves jokes in this family.
She has many…I laugh and laugh often!

Be creative today, enjoy what you've been given
and bless someone.

A Paper Pumpkin Special Gift

Hi hello!

I have been so blessed with friends through the years. Today's project was not design by me but by one of best friends forever…Maria V.

We are the time of friends that talk or text almost every day of the year. Respect each other family time, see each other maybe once a year (aargh!) and send our birthday and Christmas gifts late. EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. Hahaha! Do you have a friend like Maria.

Well…this is my Christmas gift… hey! Don't feel bad at all. I JUST sent her her birthday gift a week ago…it was months ago. Hehe! We love each other in a special way and I am so thankful God placed her by "my side" thou in different states right now.

Needless to say, she knows my heart and still loves me. LOL!
Loved her gift…can you tell?

Maria knows I love orange (and that i DO NOT have the talent of making my own jewelry :)
I was taken aback by such a beautiful necklace. I also needed some makeup!

Even the little cellophane bag is My Paper Pumpkin, eeek!

I have to say…how smart is THAT!? She used the little box for the accordion to send my gift on the mail. I love the little details. I love that she knows me, and she knows I love My Paper Pumpkin.

Thanks amiga! Te quiero!!

Hope you are enjoying all the Paper Pumpkin inspiration.
I love these kits and there is so much more coming in the next months.
Stay tune…we are going to step it up!

Go see what my other friends at My Pumpkin Challenge did today!

Owl give baby a gift...

If you have been following me for a while you already know it is not easy for me to make baby cards. It. is. not.

But I do love people, and babies, so every once in a while I create something for someone special.
My husband's cousin had a beautiful baby girl and we celebrated her with these.

Note: I wish I made those bibs and burping cloth…but no! That was made by my fabulous friend and sister in Christ, Sarah Holt. She is amazing with that sewing machine.

This cute stamp set is Baby, You've Grown.

And this is the reason why I picked this stamp set.
Love what Sarah made with this fabric. Precious!

Just a bit of what I've been doing lately.
What is HE  saying to me today?

"I am not alone,I am not alone,
You will go before me, You will never leave me".

Love this song by Kari Jobe, so let me share it with you today.
Be blessed!

What have I been doing lately?

Hello my sweet friends,

Ok, it seems as if this year is never going to slow down…thou I may, coming April…need to slooowww down a bit after all this.

I am currently participating on a Spring Coop (on top of my other weekly coop with my children). The difference on this one is I get to be a teacher for 6 weeks of 7 precious girlies. The topic…ok, wait, are you sitting?

Drum roll…sewing!

Yes, my oldest daughter H is always asking me to make this or that for her in my sewing machine. Yes, I do own one and till the last weeks was just getting dust. But check out our first project.

What do you think?
I am actually ENJOYing this….oooh, my friend J.A. from Lubbock would be so proud of me. I also used the Flower Spiral Bigz Die with felt.

Besides doing all my schooling, planning a birthday party, running errands and cleaning a house that never seems to be right how I would like to have it…I am also helping the wonderful Milton Public Library with a cool project. I will show it to you in a future post but at least check out the flowers I've been creating.

I ma using library books pages to make these cuties with the Bouquet Bigz Large Die.

I am spraying this part gold.

Then rolling and adding the petals as I wish with a hot glue gun.

I will show you more of the process in my next post.
Check one more flower I made with the same die. I am ENJOYing this die…it is truly neat.

I put like 14 of those centers in here with hot glue. Love it!
It is a very big flower by the way.

Stay at peace….the best is yet to come. Follow His heart. He never fails.
Loving you today and holding each of you my readers in prayer.

Make a difference today were you are. Even if is hard, is worth it.

Love you!
