All in the Family bye bye

You may already know this...All in the Family is retiring this year. This has been one of my favorite stamp sets to go to when I need to get creative in a cinch. Hehe!! Here last Saturday I wanted to create something special for a couple from our church that is moving away. :-( They are so special...and just got the news they are expecting their first baby. Awww...not fair (lol, I told her!)

Well I got creative with my new Designer Series Paper: Floral District. Coming on June 1st!! I went out of my way and decided to make a big card..hehe!! I make a 8 1/2" x 4 1/4" and a cute Gable Box full of chocolates.

I used the Stamp set :All in the Family and the wheel that coordinates with it (already retired). DSP: Floral district (available June 1st)
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzelberry.
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black
Ribbon: New Grossgrain Daffodil Delight (available June 1st) Tools: Simply Scored tool.
Miscelaneous: Stampin Dimensionals, Scissors
This was my inspiration!! Found some cute stickers for the car with
a mommy, daddy, baby and dog. :-)

Hope you like it. Tell me what do you think?
Love your comments....what have inspired you lately?

Creating in a hurry!!

So yesterday was my daughters last day of PDO...Oh, goodness and no gifts for the teachers?? Drop the girls at school and ran to my crafty spot...the middle of the Living Room, hehe!! This is what I came up with after seeing some wonderful magnetic pins made by another amazing demo, Pat Mayer. Check out her pins HERE, they are awesome!
Anyway...not much time but I had everything I needed for some refrigerator magnets. What do you think?? I truly hope they like them. I placed them on cellophane bags with a stamped "Thank You" on the back.

Instructions:
1. Die cut 2 of the big flowers, 1 of the middle flower and three of the small flower from the Fun Flower Bigz Die from Stampin' Up.
2. Using your paper piercer make a hole in two of the smallest flowers (offsetting them).
3. Using your ribbon of choice go around  your middle three finger twice or more times, hold in the center with an Antique Brad and then thread thru the two smallest flowers you just pierced.
4. Using a hot glue gun offset flowers and glue together.
5. Using your hot glue gun adhere a circular magnet on the back.
6. Voala! Enjoy!

Leave me your love with your comments and ask me if you have any questions, they are easy...love to share. Running out now...see you soon!!

Materials: Fun Flowers Die, Big Shot, Felt, SU fabric (black and white)

Mixed bunch of thanks!

I took a little break during the month of April to create a few thank you gifts. I wish I could have made more...Il need to!! These were sent to Washington State to my wonderful friends who made my WIAB (workshop in a bag) a success. Thanks to Dawndee, Pam, Maria and Connie. I am blessed to call you my friends...may the distance NEVER separate us. Love you all and hope you like them!!
I added instructions for the red box. :-)
For the boxes I used the Scallop Square Die and the new Framelits die (the bigger one). I embossed the square with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and the Framelit with the Finial Press (soon to retired :-( My 31st)

I really relly like the sentiment stamp set. Is called "You're a Gem". Love that most of the images fit inside a 1" circle. This stamp set will be gone May 31, 2012.
Click the SHOP NOW on the left bar to get this soon to be going away sets.
Stamp Set: Mixed Bunch, You're a bunch (will retire May 31, 2012)
Colors: Island Indigo, Real Red, Peach Parfait, Old Olive
DSP: Everyday Enchantment
Tools: Simply Scored for the mini-envelopes, 1" circle punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, Blossom Punch
Embellishments: Rhinestones

Instructions:

1. I die cut two framelits (the big one).
2. Embossed them with your folder of choice.
3. Place the top point of the design on the 2 3/4" mark of your Simply Scored then score at 4" to fold. These become the bottom of your box.
4. Cut a piece of 6 1/2" x 5 1/2" of same color CS. Score with 6 1/2" side touching the top of your Simply Scored @ 2 1/2" and at 4" . Then score the other side (the 5 1/2") @ 1" from each side. On the 6 1/2" side cut the two scored lines made on the middle...R U with me?? ...cut to the next scored line...so you only cut up to 2". Dont take anything off. Just cut, fold in and adhere with Tombow.

Oh, my! I truly hope Im explaining myself, lol!! I used both tombow and sticky strip.

5. To finish add your front and back framelits with tombow and embellish with ribbon around. It is great for 3 x 3 cards.

Let me know if this works!! It is a joy to share. :-)
Many blessings and leave me your love with your comments...I treasure your response!!

Love you all!!
